Lose 5 Pounds in June Challenge

            Here's the pattern:
 SW (start weight, optional) 213
 CW (current weight) 169.4
 GW (goal weight for the month of June) 165 or less if possible
 UTG: (Ultimate goal weight) somewhere in the 140 range

            I'm joining late but I am ready to get started...

            Can anyone give me advice on staying on target when you get to a low amount of weight because every time I get to a good weight which makes me happy i cheat really bad.
 I set a goal and a reward. If I get to X lbs, then I get to have mexican food for dinner one night. Or if I work out 5 days in a row, I can have a treat. That way I have my 1 cheat and that is all and I'm back on track. Otherwise I'd get to my goal and cheat my way back to where I started.0

 This 5# would put me at my first personal goal! I also do what another post said, weigh a couple times a week to make sure i did ok with sodium intake and such the prior day, I adjust my day accordingly after.

            I'm also joining in late. I just found this. I've been back to MFP for a little over the week. I don't know where I found it but I come with a new found commitment. And while I expect challenges I am determined to keep it. I have had a fantastic week. I used the forums to find some online support, came across this and think it's a great way to keep myself on track and accountable and my progress is good so far this week. I am excited for my Saturday weigh in!

            tomorrow is weigh in day. This morning i got on the scale, like i do every morning, and i was down 2.2 pounds since last wk. Hope to see that tomorrow morning....if not a little more 0 0

 6/30Running my 4th half marathon tomorrow, the first one where I will weigh under 200 pounds!
 Update: Ran my half marathon this morning. 30 pounds lighter than the last one I ran. 13 minutes faster - one minute per mile faster. Burned 1814 calories according to my HRM. Now if the scale only agrees next week......0

 My 4th half marathon went amazingly well on June 2(the first one where I will weigh under 200 pounds) where I shaved 14 minutes off my PB (personal best). What a difference 30 pounds makes!
 After so long without scale movement it is hard to believe!
 I haven't weighed this low in over 15 years!0

 Congratulations! I can't imagine doing a half marathon right now, but on Tuesday I will be doing my 2nd 5K (well really it's a 3.5 mile, but whatever). I ran this same one last year and found out a week later I was pregnant, this year I'm 3 months post partum, wonder which time will be better.SW 242
