I don't think I'd tell 18 year old me anything. I'm happier than I've ever been in my life, and every decision, stupid thing, and mistake that I made brought me here.
So, yeah, 18 year old me- just do what you do. You'll be just fine.0 -
I would give myself stock tips and a sports almanac from now with all the scores from every major sporting event that has taken place since i was 18.0
-
well I was only 18 2 years ago but...
- the sooner you work on your back, the better
- forget about the health at every size, you have a back to look after and weight loss will help it
- you may be passionate about your chosen career, but don't be so sure - you may change your mind. don't talk yourself out of other careers you've thought of0 -
All those things you detest about yourself.. those are the things that make you who you are, make you awesome and make people love you....0
-
Don't go to the University of Delaware.
Keep figure skating... don't give it up. You love it so much.
You will get over Mike and listen to everyone and stay far far away from Cole when you are 23.
Healthy is beautiful, anorexia and having an eating disorder is a disease and is not worth taking away precious memories, moments, and opportunities of your life. It's JUST FOOD.0 -
Put down that razor, learn to love yourself and start running. You'll love it .!
Also go back to dancing!!!0 -
Dear 18 year old me,
Don't do drugs. Seriously. It WILL destroy your life. Also...don't get married next year. 19 is too young and you won't stay together anyways.
You are a much better person than you give yourself credit for.
Love,
24 year old you.0 -

I do like this a lot.0 -
I would say, wear nicer clothes and show off your body, don't take that drink, and that guy you think is so wonderful, run as fast as you can and pursue that forest ranger job....0
-
It's the little things that are important, make the most of what you have0

DONT DO IT!!!!!0
-
Don't cut your long blonde hair
Dump that boyfriend of yours
Stop lying to your family
Stop feeling sorry for yourself
Stop drinking so much and exercise more0 -

Items 1 & 3 make it sound like between 18 and 20 you had a change of plan and became a porn star... Although I'm pretty sure that's not what you meant!0 -
PULL OUT dumba$$ !!!!!!!! wait .. wut ??0
-
keep away from chicks called Nicole with beautiful long brown hair, amazing eyes....oh..wait..this isn't going too good already is it?.....0

I would say.. you're hott and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.. Don't quit your job cause they're gonna get really hard to come by.. And don't stress over things you can't control.. things have a way of working themselves out.0

Hey 18 year old Heather - it's me, 38 year old Heather... go to college now, because it only gets harder to go as time passes. Your teachers were all right, you don't live up to your potential, take that seriously and do it! Next year you are going to meet a hot sexy guy named Ken that is going to ruin your life, either walk away or start poisoning him immediately. You are so beautiful, no matter what flaws you see or what your prince charming says, you are beautiful.
I know you don't want kids, but you are going to have A LOT - start saving money now. No matter how hard you try, you will never be your mom's favorite or your dad's - stop trying, it only hurts you more. It really doesn't matter in the end. By the way, you will give birth to the six most beautiful people you have ever seen, and you end up being THEIR favorite... it all works out. All your friends you have now that are so important end up not being in your life, don't make them a priority...
Last but not least, love you first...0 -
Listen to your mother more, she knows what she's talking about and she's just trying to protect you from making the same mistakes she made.
Get off the drugs because you're going to lose the best job you ever had and your addiction problems will get out on control.
Don't date that guy because he will permanently scar you with the verbal and physical abuse over the next 3 years and the damage will haunt you for years to come...
Cherish your time with your friends because you're going to lose two very special people within 6 months of each other and you'll never get a chance to tell one how much you loved him and the other that you thought of him as a brother and he meant the world to you.
GO TO COLLEGE AND CHASE YOUR DREAMS!! Don't ever settle or let someone/something hold you back because 10 years down the road you'll wish you did things differently and you weren't in the situation you'll be stuck in.
You are BEAUTIFUL! Take care of your body now and learn to love yourself because you are worth loving!
Lastly... Stop letting men take advantage of you and giving yourself to them so easy because you crave their love and attention. They will tell you they love you and once you give in to them, they'll break your heart. Open your eyes because you deserve so much MORE!0 -
Because I was pregnant I would say.....
Don't eat like you are eating for 2 because that is not necessary and some day that will come back to haunt you. And once you pop that kid out make time for youself and workout so you can lose the weight now and not when you are 30 y/o.0 -
Maybe this.
THIS feels so true. Any other advice Depp?
On the other hand, if you really loved either of them, it wouldn't be so hard to choose. Dump 'em both. LOL :laugh:0 -
Never mind what I would say to my 18 y.o. self, if the girl I was at 18 met the woman I've become today, she'd beat the *kitten* outta me just on principle.
I gotta make sure I'm not too soft to take her in case she comes around.0 -
Heh. Get away from the computer and Nintendo, and go to the ****ing gym a few times a week. Lay off the deep-fried jalapeno poppers and burgers from the cafe in the basement of the dorm, and learn to prepare better food.
(When I turned 18 I was starting my freshman year of college, physical activity was practically zero other than walking between classes, and most of my meals involved going downstairs for the convenient crap they cooked there. I'm 31 and over 300lbs now, and only just starting to learn how to cook good food instead of microwaving processed junk.)0 -
"Get out of England. Now."0

This!!! No regrets!!!!0 -
Don't bother with dating in college, they're all *kitten*. Start working out your freshman year so you don't gain 60 pounds by the time you hit the end of your Junior year. Keep your cool at your first job out of college so you don't get fired even though it's your first offense. Don't bother getting your learner's permit until after you finish college, you won't be able to afford a car before then anyway. Most importantly, stop letting other people determine what you're worth! You are so pretty.0
-
I would tell myself to take better care of my body and love it more. Exercise and eat healthier.
I would say to spend more time with Grandma even though she can't remember who you are because you will miss her so much when she is gone.
Stay in college no matter how hard or exhausting it is.
Take every vacation opportunity because you are going to have a blast and have so many great memories! I loved them all!
Be proud of who you are! You are a great person and friend!0 -
Six numbers.
And avoid anybody named Angelique.0 -
"stop taking wasted bathroom pictures with your friends. youre not cool"0
