I get soooo annoyed seeing someone on here that wants to lose 5 pounds. REALLY?! Come on. Especially, when people are here trying to lose hundreds of pounds. I'm all about getting healthy & maintaining but a 5 pound goal?

It doesn't bother me when people use the site to lose 5 pounds. I mean 5 or 100, either way-good for them!0

Every pound should be celebrated. EVEN FIVE. I would celebrate your loss of five pounds even if your goal is more than that. So why not celebrate their loss and their goal too?!0

Maybe they are making mini goals and just because it says 5 pounds, doesn't mean they don't want to lose 100?0

Seriously? I gained 15 and that was the wake up call I needed before I needed to lose hundred. Don't belittle someone for trying to make themselves healthier, regardless of their goal.0

Are you going to leave when you only have 5lbs left to go?
Some people on here may have lost weight prior to coming, or like me are doing bulk and cut cycles where we try to gain weight (muscle) with minimal fat gain, then cut to lose fat with minimal muscle loss. MFP allows us to track cal and macros that help achieve our goals, and has nothing to do with you.
FYI: The site is called my fitness pal, not my weight loss pal!0 -

MyFITNESSPal, not MyLosingWeightPal. Some people are here to gain - do they bother you too? Some people are here to manage certain ailments and aren't trying to gain or lose - what about them? Don't let other people's needs affect how you feel or how you get through your day and reach your goals.0

Not like you've got tons of weight to go either ... what will happen when you have 5 lbs left to go???? You'll be in the same boat ... Keep your nasty opinions to yourself.0
