I've been up for awhile, walked the dogs, messed around with the computer. Jake just got up. He will meditate for 30 minutes, then he's going to fix my shake for breakfast. He went to the store last night and bought a bunch of veggies to cook on the grill and he bought peaches to put in my shake this morning.
Our cool foggy morning weather was a welcome sight this morning.
hugs to all

It is actually time for bed, but I thought I would check in and say hi. Busy morning, then went to the pool with my DIL and granddaughter. She amazes me, she took swim lessons and now has no fear of the water. She was jumping in over her head and more or less dog paddling back to the edge. I thought it was wonderful she did a great job. Last year she was so afraid and this year she is a entirely different person.
I have so many DVD's to make for people that I hope I get some free time this weekend. I take a lot of pictures and video and like to give DVD's to the people who will enjoy them.
I am almost back to the weight on my ticker but not quite. I think I have about two more pounds to lose to get to my goal. I am so happy that people have finally noticed I lost weight.
I still have not been exercising like I should at home, but I have been doing so much walking and today with my granddaughter walking in the pool. I think I am still burning calories but not as many as I would like. I am not really complaining though since I feel good and still try to eat good.
Tomorrow or is it later this afternoon we take Daisy for her second series of shots. I will be happy to have her get them so I can take her to the groomer and hopefully the dog park. She is doing okay with her puppy classes, I am just not sure I am happy with the class itself. I may switch to a one on one instructor to teach her a little be:laugh: tter. She is a nipper and constantly is nipping at my husband. She is pretty good with me, but he doesn't like to discipline her so she thinks he is a chew toy.
Time for bed, morning comes around too soon.
Sandy
Hi Sandy,
I got creative and pulled your last post from July to answer over here in the August thread.
Regarding your Daisy Mae. I agree you need to "nip" the nipping problem in the bud. Nips have a way of turning into bites when dogs don't quite understand the difference between chew toys and fingers, and since you have kids around, I know you want to avoid unpleasant surprises, and missing fingers!!:noway:
Sounds like you are staying on track with your plan and keeping busy. I am holding steady at my current weight, but plan to get in at least 10 miles of walking in the next two days to see if I can get rid fo another pound or two. Now that it is a civilized 90 degrees on my patio, as opposed to 108, I can actually consider doing some more walking.
Barb0 -
I am about to serve grilled veggies for dinner.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Be right over Jake.Sounds good/0

Barbie and Jake, you look great, your pictures say it all. You worked so hard and it really does show, you look terrific. :flowerforyou: Jake, you are so good to Barbie, always stay that way, I know she appreciates you and all that you do.
Hi Marie, trying to sponge a meal off of Jake huh? You also cook healthy so no worries there.
Took Daisy for her second shot today, she will go back in a month for more. She did well though so I am proud of her. He still wants me to wait to get her groomed or take her to dog park. He said it is best to wait until she has her first rabies shot and her immune system is stronger. She gets socialized in puppy class so she should be fine once she goes to the dog park.
Our weather was a little drizzily today and tonight I am able to open the windows for some fresh air.
The days seem to be going so fast lately, I just can't seem to get everything done I would like.
Talk to you in the morning, hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Sandy0 -
Hi everyone, I am tired tonight and not sure why. It really felt like fall last night but today it was lovely, sunny and warm. My kids were out to help my husband with the boat. He really appreciated the interest and the help. I made dinner --- salmon fillets, Greek ribs, Greek potatoes, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes (without the sour cream) and fruit salad for dessert. My husband hates fish of any kind and it is so nice to cook fish for an appreciative audience! Mixing the good choices with a little of the not so good, I think I did ok. AND .. . . I have a leftover fillet for tomorrow.
Neil's blister is healing, not gone, but def. better. Darn, I have a little mosquito that seems to think hanging around under my desk is a good spot.
Jake -- Gotta love a man that cooks!
Barbie -- Those dogs of yours really keep you busy, maybe I should get some. I am a cat person if the truth were told but because of my allergies we no longer have pets. I do miss having a cat around the house.
Marie -- Are you having a busy weekend? Did the Target open yet?
Sandy -- It is a nice break to have a cooling rain. Even though it has been hot during the day it really cools off in the evening. I like that.
Take care and keep smiling. Gayla0 -
Good morning Gayla, Sandy, Jake, Barbiecat. Barbs and Phoebe.
Jeffrey where are you?
Elli , we missed you.
Ellen, the last I heard you were going back to Calif. Are you back yet?
Sandi, Missed you too. Did you ever get over your sick spell?
Beth, You take care.
Big G-I guess you have letf us. We all missed you.
I had a nice breaakfast of 2 eggs,1 sl. of bread with 1 0z of cheese toasted in my turbo cooker. They say you can cooked eggs in it but Have not tried it yet. But the cheese toast is wonderful. Even just toast and butter is so good cooked in it. I love that oven. I do most all of my cooking in it. Just right for one person.Since Jerry don't eat what I eat.
Everybody have a nice Sunday.
Marie0 -
Gayla, as Marie said to Jake, I wish I was close enough for that dinner, it sounded wonderful. All of you are such great cooks, I have to admit I cook just for us to eat. I make simple menu's mostly just salad, an entree and a side of some package like rice medley. I am not very original but my husband never complains. We go to his son's every Sunday for dinner, he makes up for my simple cooking but sometimes too much. We appreciate the cooking and mainly seeing our granddaughter. Now we bring Daisy there so the two dogs can play together.
Looks like we have been abandoned this weekend. Everyone is either busy or out of town.
A/C is back on this morning, going to be in the 90's. The next two weeks I will be helping my dancer granddaughter's teacher with her 4 year old. She has to go out of town and asked if I could arrange some play dates with my 4 year old granddaughter and her daughter. She has four children, one teenage, one autistic son, the four year old and a little one who turned one in April. Her mother sits for her (get's paid) but since Ella was used to day care and no longer goes she can get to be a handful. So I offered to watch her during the day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday the next two weeks. I will probably be exhausted at the end of the two weeks but it keeps me busy and young.
Burning some DVD's today, hopefully I will be able to catch up with some of my stuff soon.
Have a great Sunday.
Sandy0 -
Good Morning world!!
we have been home for a cuople of days but we have been busy.
still busy today, just felt guilty for not check ing in yet!
That is great news about Linettle. Does she still live in the house out in the 'country', it is so beautiful in Montana.
not much to report, got two cakes to bake today or tomorrow, can't decide.
fajitas for dinner tonight. veggies tomorrow. Jim is taking his daughter, ex wife, stepson and kids out to dinner Tuesday, his birthday is Monday and his daughters is Wednesday, so they are meeting in the middle.
speaking of Jim, he is wanting to discuss lawn tractors, etc.
see ya later,
p.s. gayla, congrats, you go girl!! 2 lbs is great0 -
Phoebe hello, you asked about Linette, You know she is a great story teller Its exciting to try to keep up with her. No she is not living out in the country . She had to move again for the landlord watnted to do something with the house. So she move in with James her Boyfriend. Kayla and her boyfriend move close by and have a place for their horses and taking care of them
Glad to hear from you. It has been sort of slow around here. I guess summer time keeps everybody busy. Did you see Sandy new doggie. She is so cute. How are your cats doing? MY Sammy and caliecat are both doing fine.
See you later, Marie0 -
Hello Everyone. Happy Sunday!!
I did 7 miles yesterday and was rewarded with another pound lost today. It is a civilized 93 degrees on my patio at 115 PDT, which beats the  out of 108 any day!!
Phoebe, welcome home.
Just had a narrow escape at Walmart. After checking out both sides of the car, I started to back up and this guy, probably in his 60's proceeds to walk behind my car AFTER I start moving and then starts swearing at me, hollering that I almost hit him. He was very belligerent. Almost makes me wonder if he was trying to set me up for an insurance scam and was mad that I reacted to quickly so he didn't get "hit." When I told him it was unnecessary to swear at me, especially on the Lord's Day, he left.
I think I will start backing into the spots from now on, or park in the "toolie bushes," so there is less chance of someone walking behind my car, and walk further.
Marie, that cooker of yours sounds like it might blast off into space! "Turbo cooker" --is that one of those with convection as well as other types of heat? I always wondered if they were all they were represented to be, so you will have to keep us posted.
Have a good afternoon. I have doggies to walk, my friend's bills to get set up on billpay, a trip to Costco, and my parents to visit--all this afternoon. If it is not too late, I will try to get another hour or so of walking in yet this afternoon, but I wouldn't make book on that happening. I have to wind down early enough to get to bed at a reasonable hour, or 4 am is just TOOOOOO early on Monday.
BTW, it looks like the food database is on the blink again for the last few hours. There are posts about it under technical problems.
Just as well, I ate 1/2 a maple bar at church this morning, and I would rather not know how much damage I did!!
Good news, as soon as I posted this, I checked the food database again, and it is searching fine:flowerforyou:
Later,
Barb0 -
Hi everyone. I haven't been outside yet today, I slept late and then watched a special on TV about the man-made wonders in Saskatchewan. It was very interesting. I have seen most but I think I should try to see the rest. I must get to bed earlier, I must get to be earlier, etc. I wish I were not such a nighthawk because I do love the mornings.
Phoebe -- always so nice to hear from you. You have had a very busy summer.
Marie -- I have never heard of the Turbo Cooker. I will have to check that out online. My kids call me the appliance Queen. I am more controlled about what I buy for appliances now but I do have my heart set on the Cuisinart Griddler. I check it out every week when we are shopping but haven't bought it yet. I have to find space in my cupboard and that means cupboard cleaning (not a bad thing and a nice reward in the end).
Sandy -- You are very kind to look after an additional child. Hope you have fun with the little ones.
Barb -- You, too, have a very busy day ahead of you. I hate backing up in parking lots as well. A few years ago when I was backing out of Tim Horten's I lightly hit a car behind me (there was none there when I started and I backed very slowly). When we got out there was no indication of damage on mine but hers had a big crunch in the front (can't remember which side). It looked like more damage than there should have been for the amount of impact and she was really ignorant. I wondered why she would proceed forward when she could see I was backing out. She was turning into the empty space beside me. Her damage looked mostly old to me and I felt it was a set-up. I immediately reported it to my insurance and told them my suspicions. I think in the long haul that must have been what happened as I never heard from insurance again and there was never any indication of points on my liscence for an accident. Sad to say, but we do have to be vigilant today.
Take care and keep smiling. Gayla0 -
Hi everyone,
We're cleansing today, so just the Isagenix cleanse and some Isagenix snacks. I reached my goal three months ago and have maintained it since, I still cleanse every week because I really like the way I feel. I got to tell you that around this time of night I'm thinking about the morning shake. It's worth it though, healthy tastes a whole lot better than any hot fudge sundae I ever had and there have been times I would contemplate homicide just to get one.
Today I groomed the girls, I started they're baths at 9:30 this morning, (Sasha first),and finished cutting Brandy's hair at 4:00 PM 6.5 hours (what am I nuts?). :ohwell: I have my last cup of herbal tea for the night in front of me and man is it good. Tomorrow I work most of the day and will fix lunch for Barb, Chicken and a salad and cooked spinach for less than 400 calories, pretty cool, gives me some room for a couple of Wasa oat crackers and organic peanut butter. Ah! Life s good.  Tuesday back to the golf course, tough life but someone has to do it or there would be no one to talk about. The weather has been really nice lately. I've lived in the Northeast, Southwest, Southern California, Northern California and here in the Northwest. All those other places are great and have their ow unique charm, but nothing compare to the Northwest as far as I'm concerned. Even the long cold winters are good, lets me spend more time doing the things that I let slip when I'm too busy in the summer to come indoors.
Anyhow, this is starting to sound corny so I'm going now.
Be safe all of you and talk to you soon,
jake0 -
Hello Jake. NIce that you are cooking for yourself and Barbie. good getting a post from you. You have done a fantastic job of losing your weight and maintaining
Hello everybody else.
Marie0 -
hi all, been up early, couldn't sleep. baked Jim's coconut cake, now it is chilling before I frost it.
Marie, THREEcats are fine, very spoiled, the way I like them. I got a furminator brush at Petsmart the other day, it pulls out a lot of hair, more than I thought it would. I would not have gotten it if not for the money back gurantee. I'd like to brush them all outside, pile the hair around plants as food, but they won't be still, they walk away from me. Inside, they love it and roll over so I can get both sides.- but hair flies.
Barb, I've been thinking about backing in too!! Great minds., etc., etc., It is frustrating to know that he was wrong but the law wouldn't see it that way. I guess you never know when someone will be 'in a fog' and it could happen. scary. The bad language and his behavior is another story.. I'd end up chewing him out for his bad manners..which wouldn't be any better behavior!
Barbie and Jake, you are great!! Barbie looks so slim in that red t shirt.. aka Twiggy!
I'll bake the strawberry cake tomorrow morning, we don't have room for all that cake in the fridge.
I'm trying Alli.. has anyone else tried it? I started last night. all those warnings about what can happen if you eat too much fat at once, well, lets just say it has me 'cautious'!! LOL.. I almost changed my mind when the instructions suggest women wear dark pants to work!!
Yes, Marie, Sandy's 'baby' is adorable.. it would be hard to discipline her..of course, with the loads of little scars on my hands and arms, that would be obvious if you saw me!! Budda, in particular, loves to 'nip' my skin. then he gets a belly tickle from me.. and he seems to smile.
ok, got to get ready for the dr. appt.
take care!!0 -
Now Phoebe you know coconut cake is my faverite. I get to bake one Soon for the hoildays is coning up pretty quick. And a chocolate cake too. I think we are having Thansgiving at Alice and Christmas at Kathy, I am hoping to be down by 30 lbs by then. Now if I can just not get on a binged. I am going to have to say No! No! when I am at the store. If I don't have it I can't eat it. My doctor said I could take alli at one time. but I never did.
Have a good day. Marie0 -
Yikes Marie, please don't talk about Christmas yet!!! I want to enjoy summer for as long as I can.
Picked up the other four year old today and brought her to my granddaughters for a play date. After lunch my DIL came and joined us and we went to play pee wee golf. Played some games then took Ella home.
My granddaughter had a party at the pool so while she was there we went for a drink and some appetizers at a Japanese place. It was really cute with a circular moving type thing where you picked what you wanted including sushi which I don't eat. Everything I had was cooked and some was quite tasty.
Tomorrow is my gin day (cards gin rummy) so no sitting for any kids tomorrow.
Hopefully, one of these days I can get in a good hour of exercise, but not sure when that will happen.
Sandy0 -
Good Morning Everyone! (Don't pay the ransom, I escaped!)
Last week Day was on vacation, so needless to say, I was booked up. We went down to visit our mothers one day and take care of some business. We worked in the yard and put up some veggies for the winter. Our niece got married on Saturday so that took 2 days up. It was a great time and a very nice wedding. Sandy, one day we went to Blue Chip, I covered Day's losses and won about $600 and got free food! So that was a good trip. I have been working out quite a bit and have dropped another percentage of body fat so that it good and the weight has stayed constant. I have been very active on the job search and I have picked up a little free lance work on mitigation of a chapter 7 bankruptcy and some taxes the corp owed so that has been keeping me busy the last few days, but I think I have it ready for the attorney and my part is done.
Samantha is coming home Thursday for a few days before fall semester starts. Amanda is already back teaching and doing well Day is fine. I now have her doing the P90X and she is starting to see results. She is learning the difference between following the DVD and truly "working out". LOL The cats are good. Joe has learned to shake hands now! that cat will do anything for chicken! Thats about it for now. I will stay in touch better! I hope you all continue to stay busy and be well!
Jeffrey0 -
So good to hear from you Jeffrey and I will put the ransom money back in the bank. Glad all is well with you and Day and you are having some fun in your lives. Lucky you at Blue Chip, what game did you play? We all missed you and hope you keep in touch.
Gin rummy with friends today and then tonight is National NIght Out. Some Vendors, some food, some games for the kids plus free swimming at the pool. I won't swim but will probably walk up there to get something to eat with my granddaughter and her parents.
Beautiful sunny day, probably will be in the 80's.
Life is good.
Sandy0 -
Jeffrey so glad you escaped. You are truly missed around here. Such a busy guy. I know you will enjoy having Sam around for a few days, glad Day is feeling fine.
Sandy, Look like Daisy is growing up pretty fast.
Phoebe, nice to have you around for a while. How did the cakes turn out.
Gayla, You are doing so good on you NO S diet. So proud of you.
Barbiecat and Jake, It is nice that you both are on the same path. Jerry and I are not. He eats whatever he wants but he does watch his portions size.
Good morning to Barbs, Elli, Ellen,Beth,Sandi, Big G.,
Marie0 -
Hi everyone. I was up early today as Neil was going to the parade with a friend so had to make sure he was ready, They were going out for breakfast first. There is talk of the exhibition after so expect we will be going in to pick him up, I can't imagine he will last till the fireworks as his buddy likes to do. My other kids are also going to the ex. tonight to listen to a band that they have loved for years. We.......are staying home! It is really cool out today and looks like rain, the usual parade weather! I hope the rain stays away until after the parade. A long time ago Dave and I were in San Fran. celebrating our anniversary and got to take in the parade for Chinese New Year and it just poured. The parade was fun never the less, but not likely for the participants! Then we went out for Chinese food and of course, the larger, more prominent restaurants were full so we went to a very small, old restaurant and asked them to order for us. The food turned out to be fabulous and most of it was nothing that we would have ordered. Dave always tells me that all my memories are associated with food. Funny that!!
Jake and Barbie -- I agree with Marie, it makes it much easier to have both following the same plan. For the first time ever, Dave is joining me in this plan and it is working quite well. We did not choose such a rigorous plan as you but it works for us. I have been on every diet known to man (and woman) I think and just wanted to eat like a normal person. That was my mindset when I stumbled across NoS and it has been my plan since. I have been sidetracked a few times but am back on the straight and narrow again.
Phoebe -- I love coconut but it is one of Dave's 'I hate' foods so I rarely bake with it. It sounds wonderful. Are you off for the week? I think you said there were birthday celebrations today.
Sandy -- Your dog is so cute. I bet the kids love her. I wish you were closer and I would join you for a game of gin. I have to satisfy my card playing on Pogo as I don't know anyone who likes to play cards. My Mom used to belong to 2 bridge clubs and subbed in another so I guess it is in the genes. Dave and I used to play bridge with another couple but they moved away.
Jeffrey -- Wow, you have been very busy! Sounds like a good time. Glad you picked up a little work. One of these days that phone will ring with the perfect job.
Elli -- Been missing you. Hope all is well.
Beth -- How are you?
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are having a great day.
Keep smiling. Gayla0 -
Hi all.
Marie, for my part the coconut cake was ok.. I really like the custard I cooked and poured over the top of the hot from the oven cake layers.. I poked holes in first. I should have used my seven minute frosting recipe instead of store bought:ohwell: It would have tasted better. I just don't like frosting much anyway. I only had a small piece. I'm trying to eat grapes after meals as dessert.. they taste pretty good! I should go ahead and bake the strawberry cake now. I talked myself out of it yesterday, but Jim can take it to the kids tonight and they will eat it all up.
I haven't weighed in today, but it is silly to expect any loss yet. However, when I weigh at the doctors office, I usually weigh about 5 pounds heavier, and yesterday, the scale showed a small loss at the doctor, so maybe I have lost a little.
The doctor gave me muscle relaxers and told me to continue exerciseing/stretching to strengthen the muscles in my back.. but to come back if I don't see any improvement.
Well, I have a lot to do today, moving things around, laundry, general housework. We both slept late, I had a bowl of cereal and Jim is having french bread and tomatoes. Dinner tonight for me will be Captain d's. I have a coupon for a free meal.. they have tilapia, yum.
be careful everyone, watch the heat, drink you water,
p.s. Hi Gayla, saw your post after I finished mine, good to hear from you, that sounds like a wonderful memory, the small restaurant in the big city, and not know what you were going to get to eat!!
take care,0 -
Good evening to all. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
It has been a beautiful day here----fog in the morning that didn’t burn off until well after noon. I took the girls to the dog park pretty early after completing my 12 hour fast and getting blood drawn for my yearly lab work. I spent the rest of the morning doing important chores around the house while Jake played golf. After making lunch for myself I went for an 80 minute walk. Later we went out for another walk. I want to take advantage of the nice weather. I am so grateful for it after all the heat we had last week.
:flowerforyou: Barb----parking lots are such a scary place
I highly recommend parking as far away as possible, getting that extra walk, and staying away from the congestion.
:flowerforyou: Phoebe----that’s a great idea about brushing the cats outside. Jake bought a furminator brush awhile ago not realizing how expensive it was, but it has turned out to be just what we needed. I’ll be interested to hear how Alli works for you. I’ve heard good and bad reports.
:flowerforyou: Sandy---I am with you about enjoying the summer and not thinking about the holidays just yet. Let’s just take it one day at a time. Your new dog is so cute. Is she allowed in bed or on the couch? The picture of you holding her is great. You look so slim.
:flowerforyou: Jeffrey---it’s good to hear from you. I’m glad to hear you had some work even if it was short term. How patient you must be to teach a cat a trick.
:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: Gayla---how great that your husband is trying your NoS diet with you. The best eating plan is one that you can stick with. Slow and steady wins the race.
:flowerforyou: Marie
Jerry is such a great supportive husband even if he doesn’t follow the same eating plan that you do. You need to feed him nutritious food so he’ll be around for a long time to take care of you.
time to drink more water :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
hugs to all

Hi, everyone,
Yes, I am back from a good but hot, week in California. Thankfully the kids have a pool in the back yard and the nites did cool off a bit.
Thanks for thinking of me, Marie It was very good to be with the grandkids. And nice to see the adults too.
Skimmed through most of the posts, glad to hear everyone is doing pretty well. My scales show that I lost a couple of pounds, the bad news is that they were ones I had found so I"m ready to get with it again. Seems to be I fluctuate a few pounds up and down. Hope I can stabilzie. I was eating pretty 'clean' as Barbie calls it, but being home again have relaxed a little. Hubby is cooking some good food, chicken Indian style and homemade Naan to go with it. Bran muffins and let's not talk about food. I'm kidding, everyone likes food, or we wouldn't survive long. But moderation.
It is sooooo hot here, hotter than California some days. It was little better today but smokey with the fires still burning and lots of new ones. The one across the lake flared up again, 2700 people evacuated now and only 30% contained. Some new ones east of here too, but they are not very big, at least not yet. Have to walk indoors and that is not very inspiring, too much of that in the winter.
Hubby has had some tests and gets the results tomorrow. I f all is well maybe we can take the rv to the coast. Or maybe we'll get some much needed rain. I hope and pray so.
Ellen0 -
Ellen, so glad to have you back. missed you so much. I know you enjoy being with your family tho. Those fires are awful. hey need to stop. We have had a lot of hot weather and more to come. But we are used to it. But we did have a nice July. Cooler than usally.Do you all have A/C in your home? We get our running around and our chores done in the AM and Watch TV the rest of the day in this heat.
Yes the battle of the budge. thats us. Maybe one of these days we will learn a lesson.
Have a nice day.
Marie0 -
hi all, are you having a smooth Wednesday?
so far for me, it is that way. I began an exercise this morning, but Jim woke, and I thought he wanted the tv, so I stopped and got on the computer, but I know I will go back to it in a bit.
now he is calling me to come down, so I'll check back later.0 -
Good Afternoon!
Just checking in! Had a pretty good day. Got in 2 hours of yoga and I am going to go on the eliptical this evening for an hour or so. Not too much else to report on. I am making stuffed peppers for supper tonight. Sam will on her way home in a bit and I am looking forward to that. Joe the cat is helping me type right now and the other 2 are watching to see if he gets in trouble or not.
Ellen nice to see you on the board again.
PJ you staying put for a bit?
Marie how are the legs doing? Are you on the bike yet?
Everyone else have a great day!
Jeffrey0 -
HI Everyone,
Sounds like you all are keeping right on track with your program. I admit I have been lax although walking around with these kids is sure exercise. Today we went to a place called Pirate's Cove, it is for children probably under the age of 10 or so. We had three four year old girls so they had a lot of fun. Unfortunately we had pizza for lunch with some lemonade and then went to Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone. BAD BAD ME!! I did only have a wheat English Muffin for breakfast and plan on a chicken breast for dinner so it might not be awful. :glasses:
Tomorrow I have plans for a dinner with four of my lady friends. I will eat fish tomorrow so I do try to watch my calories, it is the exercise I have to work harder. One more week helping my friend with her four year old and hopefully I get my own life back. Oh well, it does keep me young and hopping.
Have a great Wednesday, no bingo tonight, I have been gone so much I miss my Daisy.
Talk to you soon.
Sandy0 -
Hi everyone. I had my opthomologist appt. today and he says all is well and I don't have to go back for a year. I also met a very old friend there which was a bonus. I just finished making the mess of the month. I was making berry smoothies and I guess I hadn't tightnened the bottom of the blender enough and when I went to take it out I had smoothie everywhere!! Nice purple smoothie. My taste test had tasted so good! My guys were disappointed and now Dave has it in the shop to see if he can dry out the inside. He thinks I did it on purpose so I could get a new appliance. For those that don't know I LOVE new appliances. Weird I know. I think I could find an easier way to get a new blender!
Now I better get started making some dinner. My son just called to say he was coming to pick up the table tennis table so I told him they should come for dinner. I need to stretch a pound of beef.
Take care. Keep smiling Gayla0 -

Hi Everybody,
I got a message from Elli. I was missing her and checked her house blog to see how things were going. The new house looks fabulous.
