    No more Spanx under skirts/dresses

This one's my favorite. My next favorite is I can get my hands around my neck.

Nothing major, but my friend and I tried the Couch to 5K program for the first time yesterday and WOW! I was sweating like crazy by the time we finished, but I felt so proud because I couldn't remember the last time I actually jogged..and for fun at that!! Another big one for me is, I actually completed a workout without taking a break!
And good job everyone else! Today I was kinda feeling like skipping my workout, but this gave me the motivation to do it! :flowerforyou:

I'm starting to feel slimmer, only slightly, mainly around my shoulders and chest, not really where I am desperate to lose it from but if its off its off! Work trousers were baggy today and commented on at work which is always nice

Tried on my 28 year old wedding dress this past Saturday...it was very loose! Told my husband and his first response was "of course, you are smaller now than the day we got married....and I am so proud of you!" Plus I purchased a pair of pants in a "single" digit!! They are still a bit tight through the thighs, but I am working on that!! Plus they were on clearance and I got them for $13!! Bought a new dress (or two) over the weekend...one is a medium...the other a small!!

I noticed something strange today...I was changing out of my gym clothes and my eye spotted something on my lower back (in the mirror). Back dimples...! I don't recall ever seeing those in the past. Awesome. :blushing:

Awesome!! I really want back dimples, I am hoping they are hiding under there somewhere haha.

My NSV: I went to the grocery store and glanced up at the security camera screen as I walked in. I did a double-take when I realized that the girl in the black t-shirt with the tiny waist was ME! I didn't recognize myself! Felt amazing :D

My husband said I looked hot.. AND i bought a dress for Easter that I could Juuuust zip... and now it's way baggy in the hips and tummy. YEAH!!

    My NSV?

This morning when I woke up I was lying on my back I and I reached my hands down and was able to feel both hip bones!

My stomach is my final frontier, and lately I have been feeling progress when I could feel one hip bone if I rolled slightly to one side and let the bulge "ploop" to the other side. But today there was no plooping!

Sure there was giggly belly in the middle, but there on each side were hip bones!

**Sigh** it is the little things. And for all the obsessive scale-watchers out there (I am one of them) my numbers have not been moving!

I was pulling on a pair of shorts I wear all the time fresh out of the dryer and was disappointed at how tight they were to pull up over my hips... once they were all the way on I realized that they were only tight going on because I hadn't unzipped the fly before putting them on...

Wife just said she liked the way my legs looked when I was standing on the scale today. That's just all sorts of awesome in my book.

on monday I put on (and fit into and therefore bought!) my 1st size 14 jeans in YEARS (like...over 5 years at least and I can't remember how long before that)! And my husband says he doesn't think he's ever seen me in size 14 (we've been together 11 years) - but I think i have been... and the jeans were 'fitted through the hip and thigh' and even though i'm a 'pear' shape, I could still fit into them! :D

I am an apple shape, got skinny legs, large waist, and a somewhat large chest. Today I wore a pair of shorts I bought 2 months ago and went for my walk when I noticed myself pulling my shorts UP because they were falling off my waist :) YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS

And... I had to retire my size M srub pants for work because I was told they were looking super baggy!

I think my boobs are getting smaller too :)

I can wrap a regular bath towel around me, tuck the little flap in and it stays, and it actually covers everything. It has been a few years since I was able to do that.

I passed up some lasagna in the frozen food section tonight and came home and made myself a salad and had canatalope for dessert.

That was a biggie for me.

I have been to boot camp faithfully for 2 months and this morning I did the 5:30am class!

    No more heartburn!

    I bought a skirt in a size 8-my wedding dress was a 14!

Because I made a change in eating, my husband decided to a month later and he's lost close to 40 pounds!

Quit smoking two weeks ago- been exercising everyday since. I have come to the conclusion that will never smoke again because I am starting to see myself as an athlete that I want to become, and athletes don't smoke!

Bought two dresses yesterday both were mediums and one pair of shorts that are a size 8. As an adult I've never worn that size :)

I took a few photos while trying on different dresses and was surprised at the muscles in my legs :)

I bought six pairs of jeans from someone locally and now they are too big.

I didn't feel like a whale when I rode on the watertubes at the waterpark with my son.

My son has a camera now, and I'm not horrified at the pictures he takes of me. That's the biggest NSV yet.

From a triglycerides over 300 and cholesterol over 200 just 2 months ago, here are my results from yesterday:

    Total Cholesterol: 113 (normal < 200)
    Triglycerides: 99 (normal 10-200)
HDL: 42 (Good Cholesterol - normal Men >40)
    LDL: 51 (Bad Cholesterol - normal < 130)

This follows a change to a doctor-supervised, calorie-restricted, high-protein/low-carb diet (but NOT "all protein/no carb") with a weekly cheat day figured in to my calories/week.

On the non-NSV side I'm losing just under 4 lbs a week on average.

One day I was freaking out in the car because I saw my knee caps.

    They exist.

I forgot what they look like. They are ugly.
