    Hardwoods are a lot easier for me to roll around on, but I have to be careful not to take a corner too fast and leave skid marks. :smokin:

    I have the hardwood look flooring and lots of pets I love how easy it is to maintain and that my house always looks clean....

    I prefer hardwood because it's cleaner. I never had carpet either but I hate when I go to someones house and they demand i take my shoes off because they have carpet. I don't know if they shampoo that carpet every week. Ew.

    OR if i have clean socks, non fungus feet...im just saying...i think its nastier to walk barefoot then with shoes one inside or out!!

    and to answer the topic...I used to always have carpet until i moved recently and it is all tile..i like it much better!!

    Hardwood floors, since college. I will never go back! I like it smooth. When i visit others though, i am ok with area rugs.
