So this is kind of weird... when I'm at work, I don't see any of these annoying ads at the top of the page (not that they really bother me, I just ignore them  Like all other annoying things in life LMAO)
ALSO... I didn't see the chart!! I knew there was one there because you said so, but I couldn't benefit from it  LOL It's a great idea (though I'm not on there because I didn't give my #'s... My bad)
Way to go Girls!! Everyone is doing great! I'm hoping that my weight will move this week!! :grumble: I think that my shakeology will help me out... :embarassed: Off-load the waste!!

Sliding in late late late! lol I'm not on the chart either, but that's cause I'm a late girl:laugh:  I've just been trying to unplug a bit more lately. I was spending hours on the computer, just checking and rechecking posts. And I wasn't even typing most of the time, just reading, sheesh! So, I've just been coming on in the morning to log foods (sometimes) and then again for a bit in the evening.

  • I promised I would check in today because I didn't do so yesterday. Lucky for me, and suprisingly so, my weight did not budge over vacation. WHICH IS A BIG SURPRISE!! At least it didn't go up. Hopefully, once I go back to the daily grind it will start dropping again.

I almost blew today's challenge within 10minutes of being awake. You all knoiw I thought I was going to have to cancel today's appointment for RMR and body fat testing because I'm supposed to get my TOM but I did some more research and turns out it doesn't effect either but I can't eat for 4 hours before the RMR test. I woke up 4hrs 15min before my appointment and I was going to just eat a lean pocket for breakfast but I remembered today we are supposed to eat clean before I bit into it so I put it down (and it is very hard to turn away from the delicious smell of a hot pocket). Here is hoping I can convince my bf to grill instead of go out tonight and NOT make the brownie mix he got at the store last night. I don't think I have the will power to turn away from brownies or even to eat just one. :grumble:

    good luck today!

Shoot, I blew it today too... Took my oldest to drivers ed, then went and worked out while he was there. Picked him up, and let him drive me to the store, where they were having a produce sale. As well as grilled burgers! Yummy! So I gave him the money to get one, and if the line had moved faster I wouldn't have had to wait. But I'm standing there waiting for him, and the smell just got to me. So I got one too. But I didn't drink the soda that came with it. Small victory, but victory just the same:laugh:

I measured today myself. I hadn't done it in 3 months, and was happy to see that I had lost over an inch on my waist, an inch from my chest, 3/4 inch from each thigh, and 1/2 inch from both arms. Oh and 3/4 inch from my hips. I think I've only lost 8 lbs in that time, so it was good to see inches gone.

    Morning all!

Took the weekend off for birthday festivities  Do you ever find that even when you try to have a 'free' day and eat whatever you want that you really can't? I went out to dinner Friday for my birthday and had a really good filet (didn't eat it all), mashed potatoes (didn't eat them all), and split a slice of peanut butter pie with the BF (and we only got through half of it). Then I ate really well on Saturday and Sunday without even trying. It was strange...
The only thing I was bad at was getting in my water because I hate tap water and the 3 gallon jug I buy at the store ran out...:ohwell: back on track today (even though I really didn't get off of it....) and going to the gym tonight!

Good morning! We all seem to have fallen prey to the weekend once again. Well , except Kityngirl. Sadly I can still eat all the horribly bad for me stuff in large quantities..

So I accidentally came up with an amazing new (for me) twist on my oatmeal. I had heard that you can cook steel cut oatmeal in the rice cooker. So last night, I set my rice cooker up to cook 4servings (a weeks worth). About 10 minutes later I can into my kitchen to see it overflowing. After I cleaned up the mess, I decided to put a fat in it to prevent it from boiling over again. (Side note: Any type of fat will break the surface tension of the water and prevent overflow. It work it the microwave too. You can wipe a little oil around the top of the bowl and the water won't spill over) I was going to put a tbls of butter in it but I used coconut oil instead. It was SOOO good. I didn't even have to put molasses and cinnamon in it like I normally do, just milk, plain yogurt and fruit. Definately try it if you can.

Well I purposely went over this weekend - I need to do something to mess with my metabolism....I realized too that I still have the ability to over eat...I needed to stop @ 2 pieces of pizza but it was so good! I really enjoyed it and I am focused once again....

Do any of you cook mahi mahi - or a mild fish and have a great recipe I can steal?

i made some mahi mahi once, i didnt really like it...to thick and it had a slight fishy taste to it lmao i know i know.....well thats because its fish....but something about having the texture of chicken and the taste of fish just threw my off....

and i am sticking with this no man made sugar lifestyle.....one day of no man made sugars i have gone to 125lbs....the day before i was bloated from eating a burger and a vat of fries...i went up to 131lbs....one day without sugar all the bloating went down and then some!!!!!

I am going to really look at what I am eating and see what I can do about sugars....
do you eat oatmeal - what do you sweeten it with?
that would mean no sugar free koolaid/crystal light

    still thinking.....

edit....so my nutirgrain waffles and light jungry jack syrup is out.....

i almostttttt ate oatmeal today and then i looked at the package...nope cant do it until i figure out how many sugars come from the raisins (i love the raisin and spice oatmeal) but i dont see any fructose or sucrose labeled on the box (those are the sugars i'm staying away from) so maybe those 16grams of sugar are mostly from the raisins...i havent figured that one out yet...ive been really suprised at how everything pretty much has sugar in it unless it's home made....i have yet to have any man made sugars today  .....it's deffinately hard, but doable...and ive been enjoying more meats since im staying away from high sugar counts....i actually did this not knowing when i was a teenager ....i ate more meats veggies and fruits that was it......and i remember losing 30lbs in a healthy fashion within 2 months....i just didnt realize that i wasnt consuming sugars as much as i used to....so now imma try it again and see what the results are
this is actually what i used to look like

    Hasian HOT MAMA!!!!! :blushing:
  • Good morning,

So it seems official now, I'm back at work and back on the wagon. My breakfast consists of the usual All-Bran granola bar, Source yogourt and 2 coffees. Lunch is 2 cups of watermelon, a pepperoni stick, Babybel cheese and a Granny Smith apple. I'm going to die :ohwell: of starvation. I have an emergency stash of granola bars just in case. Tonight's dinner is still a mystery but I do have an 8PM workout date to walk the mountain.

Here we go again. I can do it, I can do it, I can do it. I'll just keep repeating this for the next week.

    I can do it.

Being gone for two weeks was really hard. No access to internet. I wasn't bad, just not keeping track.
