Loathesome...how about we try a day of no sweets again? Not including fruits and yogurt this time. I know it'll be a big challenge for me since all week I've had a No Pudge brownie almost every night!! They're addicting hehehe but I don't want to form a sweet tooth-a "salt tooth" is bad enough for me!!

Argh...can't sleep and I've got a raging headache. I'm already over in calories far enough (first time all week I've been over!!! ) but since the pills aren't working I'm considering a good stiff drink. WHY does alcohol have to be so high in calories?! :grumble:

a good stiff drink could work, it doesn't have to be more than 100 cals depending on how stiff you make it :)
i can't sleep either, i have been taking a psychology of women class every tuesday and thursday from 7-10 and then i go out for a couple hours after, then when i get in, i think about it a lot, this class has really effected me, but i feel that this knowledge and desire for it is such a dangerous thing because ultimately, it is a form of feminism, and feminism is ultimately taboo, and has turned so many heads, people will acctually roll their eyes at me when i tell them the cool things i learned in this class, these are like my good friends, my bf has been OK, i wish a little bit better. just today we watched v-day which is like the vagina monologues, and afterwards when i was talking to him about it, i used the word vagina like 20 times in our conversation and i felt so empowered and im not gonna lie, but i think he could see that i felt that way and was acctually proud of me!

that was a mouthful...i just am really enjoying this class. super eye opening.

That's true, it doesn't, except we don't have any good mixers in the house and I'm just not feeling a crystal light and vodka right now. I'll prolly break down and pop a vicodin but I really don't want to, I'm down to my last 2 and I try to save them for the worst headaches...but this one's getting close to being one of the bad ones :frown:

I think that class sounds extremely interesting, I'm actually looking forward to taking a feminism class when I start school again! Isn't V-Day a movement/organization against FGM? When I was 14 or so I joined an organization that protests and works against FGM, I think it was actually called V-Day or something similar.

i guess it depends on what FGM means cause i have never heard that abbreviation

the film was really interesting if you are interested in feminist movements, it talks a lot about genital mutilation which i found to be really beautiful what with the girls being brave enough to lose everything to stand up for their bodies

Yup that's exactly what FGM is-Female Genital Mutilation. And another yup, it was V-Day that I once joined. Fighting violence against women and girls. I joined mainly because of the FGM deal, it was so horrific and I couldn't believe this was actually happening still, and that girls often had no say about it. I oughta look into it again and send some donations.

My Thursday weight was 145. I nave lost 23 pounds since I joined MFP 28 if you count the 5 I lost before I joined. The last 10 seem to be hanging on for dear life! very slow indeed. My hubby built me a walk in closet to hold all of my shoes about a year ago. I am an addict! to shoes that is. Perhaps I could borrow a pair from the internet till I find the right ones! It has to be the perfect shoes for me to buy them. So if someone could send me this chart I could catch up. Thanks, a PM would be very sweet from a shoe loving friend!

Yep definitely the one with panties - but there's still this debate over clothes no clothes.....

maybe I could be snooty and change my shoes from time to time! the metallic ones are pretty awesome too, love the ankle wrap! So do I deserve shoes with a 28 lb loss! ? Where is your shoes?

Good morning and Happy Friday to all!

127.5 on Wed night at Curves........1/2lb different than last week, but I'm OK with that. I know these last 7 pounds are going to come off a LOT slower than they went on!
