Usuallly left overs, but I also keep some 'to go' homemade burritos made with 8 " tortillas in the freezer for emergencies or fast meal. Some beef, some bean some mixed. A little cheese and a bit of green chili wrapped and ready to heat.

A whole wheat tortilla wrap, spread a thin layer of Smart Balance peanut butter, and roll up with a banana. Yummy and fills me up.

I am going to try that some time. I love peanut butter and banna sandwiches.

I'll eat a smoothie, or I will heat up a can of low sodium black beans.

I always have Morningstar Farms Spicy Black bean burgers or original grillers in the freezer and 99.9% of the time I have some kind of 100 calorie sandwich thins on hand. Add a little ketchup and lettuce and there's one of my favorite "meals"!

Here's what I do. Not everyone can but it may work for some.

Step 1. I get my *kitten* out of the chair.

Step 2. I walk one block to the Food Lion near me.

Step 3. Stare into freezer case.

Step 4. Purchase a frozen meal.

    Step 5. Walk home.

Step 6. Microwave said frozen meal and realize I forgot to poke hole in plastic.

Step 7. I eat the frozen meal while the dog glares at me.

    Try it!

If i stay in - scrambled egg whites with mozerella and spinach
if i want to pick up - McDonald's grilled chicken bacon ranch salad with no dressing - chicken has enough flavoring that you don't need dressing.

    Omelets or grocery store sushi.

Before I was gluten-free, it was a veggie burger or cheese quesadilla.

Try the peanut butter banana quesadilla.

Take your banana and mash it

Spread banana on one half of tortilla and peanut butter on the other

    Fold over

    Microwave for 5 - 10 seconds

    Soup and Salad!

You can create a large salad and it will be low calorie assuming you are smart with what dressing you use.
If you get a low calorie heart healthy soup your able to serve the need of eatting something warm.

I love this combination because it takes a little bit to eat it. So your left feeling full and satisfied by the time you have finished. In addition to feeling satisfied your left feeling good about eating it, because you have consumed something healthy and there is no need to feel guilty or self indulgent.

Hope you have got a few ideas that have worked for you!!

Most likely Not enough for me-1 slice cheese, 2 slices bread and 1 tsp butter is ~ 250 calories, cucumbers are negligible.

I've been pretty good about planning my meals for the week but tonight I just didn't feel like cooking anything. I was going to make turkey tacos which are easy to make but didn't even feel like doing that. I wound up eating popcorn and a yogurt smoothie.

What's your quick "go to" meal when you just don't feel like making anything?

One Arnold's multigrain sandwich thin roll, two pieces of baby Swiss cheese, and three slices of thick-cut bacon that have been nuked in the microwave oven.
