How about for our challenge this week we could make sure to add an additional 5-10mins to each workout we do this week.
I am at 152.5 now from the last time I weighed in I was 156. 3.5 lb loss last week...woohoo I'll take it!
Hoping to continue this trend...
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!0 -
Sounds good sparksfly... I had a very long weekend coaching volleyball... I did manage to get 2 workouts in though, the hotel had a nice gym and a great trail nearby for running so that was fun! It'll be a busy week for me, good luck to everyone and welcome to the newbies!

are you guys eating the typical 1200 cals a day + your exercise cals?
I feel like I do better when I stick to 1200-1300 on non workout days and 1200-1600 on workout days ( I usually burn 400-800 cals a workout session)
Just seeing what other women are doing that around the same age as I am...0 -

Honestly. I don't know that i really pay attention that great. I usually work out in the morning and then try to stay under however many calories it tells me i have left. i'm usually within 100. so I'd say i'm about the same as you. I eat what i burn. There is that 500 calorie deficiency automatically from what you'd "really need" so even if i eat what i work off i'm still "under". Idk if that makes sense i'm doing to many things at once. haha. But there ya go.0 -
I typically just stay between 1200-1300 even when I do work out. I really don't like eating more calories just because I've worked out. I feel like there is more weight loss success when I take the same intake everyday, rather than increasing on days I work out. That's just what I do.
Sparksfly-- Great idea on challenge this week!0 -
hope everyone is doing well with the extra 10 mins of exercise!! Getting on a elliptical AFTER an hour of zumba was tough, but I burned another 100 cals or so!
I don't weigh in on Friday. I weigh in on Sunday monring so GL everyone tomorrow that weighs in on Friday!0 -
So I'm skipping weigh-in tomorrow because i have a big busy day. So I'm going to weigh in on monday, because thats my goal day(idk why) haha. But good luck everyone.0

Good luck with weigh-in guys! Knowing I have this site to put my weekly weigh in's, it really motivates me to do well each week. I lost 3 pounds exactly this week! Good luck to everyone else! :happy:0

Hey All!
Forgot to post yesterday - 169 still - soooo shocked its unreal. Ive eaten like crap, drank way to much soda, and i didnt gain. Now if only can stick to eating well, id be in great shape.
I bought some snacks this wekend to take to work on Monday so that hopefully i wont go grabbing the carbs at lunch cause im so hungry, but ive been eating whole wheat pasta with tons of green veggies in it most days.
Seriously hating on my job these days. Not sure how much longer i can do this for a living, too much undo stress and its only going to get worse with the economy picking up as more people quit.
Hope everyone has a good rest of their weekend, and keeps it up for a good weigh in next week!!0 -
I'm almost 24 and I will not let myself be 25 and still at this weight! There was never a better time to continue losing weight than right now.I typically just stay between 1200-1300 even when I do work out. I really don't like eating more calories just because I've worked out. I feel like there is more weight loss success when I take the same intake everyday, rather than increasing on days I work out.
That may be the only thing I dont like about this site... That my workouts tell me I can eat more. From now on, I should only add up my exercise at the END of the day.0 -
Well i've been MIA for a couple weeks, but im back and ready to lose weight. I have a photoshoot in bout 3 weeks to a month and i need to lose the weight i've gained since being off of here. So i need all the motivation i can get again!!!
Hope everyone is doing great!0 -
Good luck sollygirl! I think you have great motivation to get in shape. Do your best and show 'em what you've got!0
-
Well, the only reason it add more intake limits is because of the nutritional intake you're allowed to have with amount of calories burned. However, the only way I acknowledge those is if I just absolutely am having a bad day. I think it's a VERY smart idea to just add exercise at the end of the day.0

So Idk how the week went yet we will find out tomorrow morning but i just realized i'm exercising over an hour a day, but not doing enough to meet the calorie goal on this stupid thing. I just wish the weather was nicer already so i could head back out side.0
-
I know the weather sucks it was nice during the week and all of a sudden during the weekend when i wanna really get back into exercising its pouring rain out. Ugh. If its not raining tomorrow i plan on going for a jog to start the week off right.0

I'm 22 and could definitely do with some motivation and support! This site seems really useful and helpful , just started using it today!0
-
Hi im 26 and could definately do with some support - my willpower and motivation are very low at the momen,0

Hey girls, don't let the weather get you down! Hit the gym, or do a workout DVD instead. If that's not possible, just dance to some high tempo music! Don't let the weather dictate when you can workout. Make working out, work for you. Make it convenient, and doable on any day. I, personally, only workout in my room, unless I take a walk. Good luck!0

Hey Ladies,
So the Monday weigh in went alright. I'm wondering if this would be a better day considering it is when the exercise counters on the exercise log start. Also It is after the weekend. Seeming like someone else said to make me more accountable for that time. I have hit that, i'm almost at 20 pounds mark and I can't seem to get over it. So this week my goal is to work my butt off to get over that hump.
I was thinking we should do a two week challenge since it takes us so long to pick out the challenge anyway lol. Anyone have any ideas, I was thinking maybe not how long we work out but how intense the work out is and how many calories we burn? I seem to work out but not always as hard or as intensely as i should be.
Well ladies have a wonderful monday talk to you all soon.0 -
So I didn't even say how i did this week. I stayed the same. I've lost some inches over the last month which is good though. Yay!0
-
Welcome back solly and welcome to all the new people!! :flowerforyou: Great work everyone!0
-
I do like the idea of weighing in on Mondays! The weekends are the worst for me, especially when I travel, so having to see that weight on here may keep me motivated during the weekends.
Last week was the first week I actually met and exceeded my exercise goals! I couldn't make it to the gym this weekend but I stayed really active (a goal of mine to not waste weekends with the TV): Moved a friend from his 3rd floor apartment, washed my car, washed a plane at the museum, washed my large dogs who hate baths, dog park, etc. But sadly, no budge on the scale. I only went over my calories once and only by a little bit (you try turning down southern grandma cooking). Its getting pretty frustrating. Especially after I ordered my bridesmaids dress on Friday. My friends wedding is my first large goal date and now its officially only 3 months away!! With the stationary numbers, I don't know if I'll make it to my "Freshman in College" weight by May 22!!
Sorry about the tiny ranting, just frustrated!
Hopefully this week will be as good as last week and that scale will finally move!0 -
:grumble: I woke up late this am and didn't have a chance to weigh in...darn MONDAYS! :grumble:
I had weighed myself by early Friday morning and I was down half a pound, then I weighed on Saturday morning and I was basically the same as last week. BOOO!
Hopefully it was just water weight as I exercised 6 xs this week and only went over my cals on the one day I did NOT exercise.
I really need to get a lot of water in this week! I'll see what the damage is tomorrow morning when I wake up.
Have a good Monday!0
