Talk about things lining up in life...
My last weigh-in this past Thursday, I hit the 50 lbs lost mark - w00t!
Last weekend I couldn't find my old swimsuit for the life of me! (I hadn't worn it in a few years, so no telling what I actually did with it - LOL)
Then, I noticed this thread the other day right after misskortney started it; and, it inspired me to go out and buy a bikini!
So here ya go!
'n yuppers ~ I'm sure as heck gonna go out in public sportin' my new suit! =P

Now I'm aiming for 145lbs.

I bought this bikini while on vacation, and while I don't have the nerve to wear it yet, I WILL be wearing it next summer. I can't wait!!!

This was me at the end of March I belive.
5'1.5" 132lbs
Trying to get back there! I gained 5lbs of happy weight after my wedding in April. :X
This was close to the end of Phase II of P90X2.0 -
this was me "before"... I've always loved bikinis and will always wear them no matter what.
I am now 19% bf and look very different in a bikini.... thanks to MFP and heavy lifting!!!!

I found my vintage bikini last week and took the pic, I never thought I would post it here, but I am really inspired by all of you! I have also included my before pic which I havent shown anyone before either so you can see where I've come from too (eeeekkk)
Now just got to get the guts to actually press post! And apologise for the white skin too lol!

I don't have many before pics...but I just took some pics this morning...sooooo glad I saw this thread. I was contemplating a ONE piece or TWO piece...and I'm gonna be honest, I think the one piece was HIDEOUS and made me look LARGER than the TWO piece. So, here it is....

I have just spent the past hour reading this thread!!! I am SO inspired and happy right now!!
I started wearing a bikini when I went to the Dom. Rep 13 years ago to get married. Felt like a goddess!! I still wear one at 5'7" 170lbs
...you know whats hot?? Confidence!!!!! Now THAT'S SEXY!!! And it is ooooozing from every post!!!!

I had to give this a try. At age 60, I haven't worn a bikini in at least 35 years, and I'm not about to start again. However, after losing 40 lbs since last summer, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Running shorts and a sports bra is the best I can come up with. I'm not sure I'm posting the image correctly, but I'll try.

ok so....this is my new suit...but so far I have only worn the swim shorts that I got to go over them...and not these bottoms!
as a lot of you may know...losing a bunch of weight is good for your body, but horrible for your skin! so until my tummy tuck...this is as close as I will get :bigsmile:
