good guy. Pretty much the only time I wanna ***** slap my BF is when he is trying to put on his bad boy personae. It's annoying. It's generally offensive. And it's not at all who he really is.

Nice, intelligent, creative, kind, strong, unique, adventurous, adaptable...you name it, that's my husband! "Bad boy" seems like a euphemism for abusive, immature, unintelligent, shallow, uncreative, self-absorbed, a person that will not engage in interesting conversations, not be a good father. We didn't get to choose our parents, but we do get to choose our partners...choose wisely.

I've been told I have the perfect mix, Being able to publicly exert my alpha-male dominance, and privately be able to be the type of dude that doesn't mind cuddling at night.....but assume you can't have both. REALLY IS THE TRUTH, Nice people in general get left here. I would know I'm always stuck in friend zone So this goes both ways.

I agree with this BUT at the same time, once you take that individual out of the "friend zone" they stop being the nice guy they used to be... "Once you give yourself to someone, they stop doing the things they did to get you."

To answer the origional question, a good balance of both is what I prefer.

This isn't true. Maybe it's just that all the women who are lucky enough to find the nice guys end up marrying them and therefore are off the market. I married an incredibly nice guy and now 9 years later we have two great kids and I am not bored in the slightest. Bad boys were never my type.
