    AWE I had a Basil!!! I miss him terribly!!!!! Named him after the snake in a Clock Work Orange. I pronounced it Bazel. He passed two years ago from an intestinal cancer and I miss him daily!

    My cat has a missing foot so his name is tripod.
    muhaha I felt a little evil naming him that.

    But whenever he does something bad and I am all angry and scream "TRIPOD !!!" I just start laughing, it's hard to be mad at a cat named that.

    Mine are Cindy and Tigger :) Cindy has a little spot by her nose that reminded my mom of Cindy Crawford and Tigger... he's a fierce-tigger-hunter that's always bouncing and running around!
    Cindy usually has HUGE pupils that basically eclipses her eye, but we were in the sun when I took that picture, so her pupils are tiny..

    My oldest cat's name is Jinx, my second oldest is all black except for his chest and feet which is white and his name is Tux (I.E. He looks like he's wearing a Tuxedo) and my youngest my husband found while fishing with our son and his name is Fisher.

    My cat's name is Houdini, because the very first day after we rescued him as a kitten, he vanished for the entire day, my wife thought he got out of the house and ran off, then he magically appeared out of nowhere around 8PM that night. :laugh:

    Now he's full grown, and at 15 pounds, he doesn't hide very well anymore. :laugh:

    He also likes to help cook...

    I had an all white cat with blue eyes named Lucifer and he lived up to every letter of that name.

    It had to start with an M, all our names do(it's a family thing). I like that it's not too common, and she's such a big part of our family, she's almost like the third child.

    I also read somewhere that cats recognize their names better if it has an S sound in it. What do you guys think? True or untrue?

    Well, when I got my cat he was very little only 6 weeks old... so the kids named him Nala. ( yes Lion King) However after a few months when he got some extra appendages, he was renamed MR MANTASTIC KITTY FANTASTIC. He is now 10 years old and still my best Mr. Man!

    hahaha...our lucifer is all black and used to live up to his name, but now he's just a big ball of love so we call him lou instead lol.

    Mine is called Skippy. She's a rescue cat and they called her that because she was found in a skip. Apparently someone threw out the runt of the litter like trash :(
    She's 14 now and super healthy, silly people.
