    4.05 miles in 43:09, Avg Pace 10:40, Mile Splits 11:09 - 10:54 - 10:21 - 10:12, 89F, DP 72, Sunny, no breeze. BC 5/5 for a mile, then 4/4 for 2 miles then 3/3 for the last mile.

Almost didn't run today. Energy levels down all day. It was hot, humid, I was hungry, feeling unmotivated, I'd already run 12 days in a row and deserved a rest, my tummy ached, blah blah blah...

Told myself to run just one mile and see how I felt...then I just kept on running :)

You could have. You just have to slow down. About 45 seconds per mile slower is about right for that temperature. I've done it before and lived to tell about it. Was it pleasant? No, but it wasn't God awful unbearable either.

Friday 8.7 miles, Saturday 7.9 and Sunday 9. It's been rainy the past few days, but still a bit too hot. Is there such a thing as jacket that keeps rain out without trapping sweat in? Or maybe I should just let the rain wash away the sweat:smile:
