Hi Ladies, today I did a Gina B Hiit workout and ICE Chiseled Upper Body. Good stuff!
We had a pretty windy and cold day today.

Laurie, great workout! I really like those circuit workouts. Thanks for letting me know about the Dollar Store's window cleaner. Dollar Store and Dollar General are everywhere here. A couple of years ago I went to lady's house and her windows and mirrors were spotless. I asked her what she cleaned them with and she said rubbing alcohol and a squeegee. She said never use a towel on a mirror or window. It's kind of hard to use the squeegee on a mirror but it works nicely on our floor to ceiling windows. I use a microfiber cloth on mirrors and our kitchen cabinets with glass doors.

Laurel, great workouts! I'm glad you enjoyed them! I am 1000% for extending the current rotation. I'm not mentally ready to start the new rotation after what's turned out to be a very busy week. What will you do next week? The Semi-Recovery Week? It makes perfect sense to me, to start the new rotation in the new year. Butts and Guts really a great workout.
I have a Dyson vacuum and recently bought a long, skinny and flexible attachment that allows me to get under/behind furniture, appliances and even in the dryer's lint catcher compartment. I am so glad I discovered it!

I'll see you tomorrow ladies. I can't believe Christmas practically here!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was RAW Stretch & Tone. The tone part of this workout was lower body floor work. I did use ankle weights for that portion. Overall the bod felt great afterward.

Laurel, Great job on the workouts, and hope your body was okay with them. I'm good with starting Jan 2, because we will be heading up to my parents on Monday. I would have had to start a week later anyway. So it really works for me. ;) I so remember steam heat from when I was in school. The older portion of the building was all steam. It was great for drying out all the wet mittens after recess though. :D You would see mittens all lined up on the radiators in the halls. I have lived in houses that have had wood, gas, oil, propane and electric heat. The hottest of course is the wood, and it was the coldest. :D Just to much variation. Right now our heat is gas, and it is okay.

Thelma, Nice workouts! Thanks for the information on the rubbing alcohol. I have been trying everything on our tile floor in the entry way. Everything leaves streaks, so I will have to try that trick. Funny how little things like that can drive you crazy. I just don't like having these nice tile floors, and it looks like I don't clean them. :D I use rubbing alcohol to clean the sewing machines that I have gotten, so I should have figured that one out.

I'm probably going to be busy tomorrow, so Merry Christmas to both of you! 🎄

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute HiiT and Hills ride followed by 30 minutes of Pilates. Good stuff! Yay for pushing off the rotation for a week! Like Thelma said, while physically and logistically I can do it, mentally…..I just want to get through the holidays first. And, Laurie, I had a feeling you were traveling next week, so I am glad this workouts out. I think I will be doing something similar to what I did this week next week with a blend of solid strength workouts, metabolic workouts and cardio. DH will be off work much of the week, so my workouts will kind of depend on what we decide to do with the days.

Thelma, great workouts. When I did that ICE Chiseled Upper Body workout a couple of weeks ago, I really enjoyed it. When it was first released, I just couldn’t get into it at all. But that’s why I hang on to some workouts like that….I have a tendency to change my mind about them in time. I can’t believe it is Christmas already either!

Laurie, great workout. Sometimes that floor work is just what the body needs. I have never had wood heat, and I don’t think I ever want to for the reasons you described. I hope you have a safe trip next week.

I probably won’t be here tomorrow, so I wish you both a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy!

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Thursday were a Peloton ride and a slow yoga flow. This could also be my workout on Christmas Eve day!

Laurie, sounds like another fantastic KCM RAW workout! Great job!
I hope the rubbing alcohol works on your tile too! I just read that to make a stainless steel sink shinny after you clean it is to spray it with window cleaner, then wipe it with a towel. It doesn't make sense but I'll give it a shot.
My house will be immaculate after this week of deep cleaning! I don't understand how cleaning people clean a house in 2-3 hours. DH says it's because they don't really clean!

Laurel, great workouts! I am glad we are extending the current rotation. I need a vacation after this week of deep cleaning! It makes sense to do next week the type of workouts we've been doing this week.

Sorry I missed both of you! Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas.

Hi Ladies, I hope you had a nice Christmas weekend. Our Christmas Eve day was quiet. On Christmas day our friend came over at 1pm and was here till about 6pm. We talked, played a board game and had a nice dinner. She was sorry she didn't accept our invitation to spend Christmas Eve with us because it was really hard spending that day without her husband. She really appreciates that we try to spend time with her. We are going out to dinner with another couple on the 31st and we invited her too. She made a Cuban rum cake for dessert that was absolutely delicious.

For workouts on Friday I did Zumba, gentle flow yoga and Pilates abs.
On Sunday I did a Gina B low impact Hiit and Xtrain Legs minus the ball and barre.

It got pretty warm here over the weekend. We hit 70 today. DH had to go to Home Depot for a few things and said some people were wearing shorts and t-shirts. We are now heading into a very rainy week. My weather app shows rain all week.

Have a wonderful last week of the year ladies!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend. Ours was pretty good. Unfortunately our dishwasher died sometime during the night from Christmas Eve into Christmas morning. DH spent much of Christmas Day trying to fix it, to no avail. So we drove down to a Lowe’s about an hour from here yesterday morning because they had one we wanted in stock, and he spent much of yesterday installing it. But….it is done. Unfortunately, though, we weren’t able to enjoy the weekend how we hoped by watching movies and working on a puzzle. But it was a minor inconvenience for sure.

For workouts, on Friday I did Cathe Live A Christmas Ball which was a good total body workout. I followed it with another of her Christmas workouts from a few years ago called Keep The Cardio Coming. Saturday was a 30 minute ‘holiday’ spin followed by 30 minutes of yoga. Yesterday was Cathe Live Glutes and Core followed by a 45 minute spin. And today was Pyramid Upper Body followed by Low Max. I pulled out the oldies today! :)

Thelma, great workouts. No doubt your friend enjoyed your company on Christmas. I hope she joins you for the New Year as well. Her cake sounds wonderful. I hope you get a breather from the deep cleaning this week. Our weather has been so very warm since Friday night. We ate dinner on the deck both last night and Christmas night. Because the humidity is also way up, I finally had to turn the AC back on at night…..not something I ever wanted to do in December. But between the wind, the warm temperatures and the humidity, if I was going to get any sleep, it needed to happen. Looks like we might be getting some violent weather because of it at the end of the week. Hopefully it won’t be too bad.

    See you tomorrow,

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Monday were a Peloton ride and XTtrain Chest, Back & Shoulders.

It got very windy here today and thankfully it died down by the end of the afternoon. temps were on the warmer side but not as warm as Sunday. The rain should start on Tuesday.

Laurel, I'm sorry about your dishwasher! I'm glad you were able to find one you wanted and were able to install it too. I bet it was nice being able to eat out on the deck! Great workouts!

Our friend has agreed to join us on New Year's Eve which is great. We finished the deep cleaning last week on Friday. I had to enlist DH to help me in order to finish.
I can't believe you had to turn the AC on! I hope the weather doesn't get violent during the weekend! I heard that it could be cold too.

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Cathe Live Touch Up Training Lower Body and a 45 minute spin. Good stuff today.

Thelma, great workouts. You know I love those XTrain workouts! So good. I am glad your friend will be joining you on Friday. I imagine it will be a difficult day for her. Our weather is seriously driving me crazy. If it is going to be 70, at least it could be sunny and pleasant. :) But between the wind, the murky sky and the humidity….it just isn’t very nice. And the highs and lows being the same don’t help. I realize just how much I like it getting cool when the sun goes down. But this pattern is supposed to break on Saturday, and I hope it isn’t too violent. I think the lows dropping by 40+ degrees over night will be the most shocking. :o

I won’t be here tomorrow. DH gifted himself with a new car for Christmas, so we are headed up to Kentucky to pick it up. I’m looking forward to a little road trip! :)

    See you Thursday!

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Monday were Pickleball and Pilates.

Laurel, great workouts. I hope you have a good trip to Kentucky and congrats to your DH on his new car!

The humidity doesn't help matters at all. It's been cool here but still in the 60's. The temperature drop will feel below zero to us! LOL

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were Gina B Low Impact, Gentle Yoga and XTrain Bi’s & Tri’s.

We got hit with a wild storm tonight and were under tornado watch. We had heavy rain, wind and thunder. More rain through Saturday and then a cold front will.

Laurel, I hope everything went well in Kentucky!

Hi Ladies! All went well yesterday in Kentucky picking up DH’s car. We had some heavy showers along the way but nothing too severe. Like you, Thelma, the severe weather here came last night. But we had nothing damaged here. DH’s new car is really nice, and the trip home was much more comfortable (and fun) than the trip up in his old car. :)

For workouts, yesterday I did Cathe Live Touch Up Training Upper Body followed by Cathe Live Hearts on Fire. And today was a 30 minute spin into Cathe Live Cardio Leg Party. That was a tough combo!

Thelma, great workouts. We had the same storm last night. They are predicting more—and worse—for Saturday. But, boy, will I be happy to have a cool front move through and, hopefully, take this humidity with it. It was so humid this morning my glasses kept fogging up during my spin!! Nobody should sweat that much in December. :D I hope you don’t get hit too hard with any storms this weekend. I also hope you have a good time with your friend tomorrow celebrating the New Year.

Happy New Year! I have to keep reminding myself that Sunday starts our new rotation! I will see you next week.

Hi Ladies! My workouts on Thursday were Zumba, Gentle Flow Yoga and XTreme Barre Legs. I am loving going to the yoga studio and seeing my old yoga pals. The instructors do a lot of balancing poses which completely appreciate. It was very warm in the studio today. I honestly can't imagine surviving one of those hot yoga classes.

We had some drizzle this morning, but the rest of the day was rain free! Thank God! The rain is scheduled to arrive in the afternoon into the night and the cold front will arrive on Sunday.

I cleaned the house today and it was a breeze after my seriously deep cleaning last week.

Laurel, I'm glad everything went well in Kentucky. I'm glad you both like your DH's new car. I'm sure the ride was much nicer on the way home. Do you still have the Subaru Outback?
Great workouts! I can't believe we're starting the new rotation on Sunday. I think it will be a lot of fun and it gives us a longer break from STS. I would be seriously dreading another STS rotation right now.

We had no damage on our property from the storm and I've not heard of any flooding in the area.

I don't like the type of humidity we've been having. It's different than the kind we experience in the summertime when it feels that you can't breathe because the air is so heavy. I will also be happy to have cooler air again. I can't believe your glasses were fogging up from the Peloton ride! I hope you don't get hit hard tomorrow with the storm either. I am looking forward to spending time with our friends. It should be run.

    Happy New Year my friends!

Hi ladies! Happy New Year! I hope you had a nice weekend. We had a nice weekend, but the weather has been insane. Lots of rain, tornado warnings on Friday and Saturday night. Sunday night heavy rain, strong winds and snow! We've gone from 70 degrees on Friday and Saturday to 50's on Sunday, then dropping into the upper 20's.

We had a great time at dinner with our friends on New Year's Eve.

Friday's workouts were Zumba and gentle flow yoga.
Sunday: Gina B 2000 steps and LiTe Strong Body Stacked sets: Lower with extended stretch. I am loving this rotation already!

    Have a great week!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours was good. We got all of the Christmas decorations down on Saturday, which was a lot of work. But it always feels good when it is done. Truth be told….this is one of those years I happily would have kept my decorations up for at least another month. Some years I can’t wait to get it down….but not this year.

For workouts, on Friday I did Cathe Live Upper Body Core Crush followed by Cathe Live Keep The Cardio Coming. Saturday was a Jessica Smith HiiT Walk followed by yoga. Yesterday was a 45 minute spin followed by XTend Barre Signature Series 1. And today was LITE Stacked Sets Lower Body, Cathe Live Rock It Sock It and XTend Barre Pilates 1.

Thelma, our weather has been equally crazy. We set a record high temperature on Saturday of 79. :o DH and I ate dinner on the deck in short sleeves. Then, two hours later, the tornado sirens were going off (we had two touch down in the county). A couple hours after that, we had a massive thunder/lightening/rain storm that put us in flood warnings. Yesterday we had simultaneous flash flood warnings and winter storm warnings, and got about four inches of snow last night. And we still haven’t broken 30 degrees yet today. Just…..bizarre.

Anyhow, like you, I am already enjoying this series. I would in no way be ready for another STS workout yet. What I like right now is asking myself ‘what do I feel like?’ and then doing it. I also like knowing the strength workouts will be different next week. That being said, I forgot how good that LITE Stacked Sets Lower Body workout is. I just love how much she put into that shorter workout.

I am so glad you had a good time with your friends on Friday! We had a quiet evening, which is how I like it. We didn’t even have too many fireworks in the neighborhood. Yes, we kept my Subaru Outback and got ride of DHs Mazda CX-5. The Outback is just too good of a car to get rid of. It holds more stuff and rides better and has more power than the Mazda. We replaced the Mazda with an Infinity coupe. Before we moved to Alaska, we always had one larger and one smaller car, and we have been wanting to return to that since we moved here.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! It was freezing here today. The temperature was 29 degrees at 9am and it felt like 21. The highest temp today was 34. It was very cold. Higher elevations got anywhere between 3 and 5 inches. We probably got 1/2 inch. It could've been a little more, but the wind was insane. More cold weather tomorrow. I read that starting next Sunday we may be into another raining period.

My workouts today were a peloton ride, LITE Strong Body Stacked sets: Lower and Xtend Barre Core. My arms were fried after the Stacked Sets workout. Good stuff! I also went for a short walk with Chico down/up our road. Of all days he wanted to go for a long walk!

Laurel, great workouts! The LITE Stacked Sets workouts are really good! I'm glad you're also enjoying the new rotation.
You didn't waste any time taking the Christmas decorations down! DH loves the warm light the trees have, so they go from being Christmas trees to night lights! LOL
It sounds like your weather was crazier than ours. I am so glad you're both OK.
I agree with you on the Subaru Outback being a great vehicle. We bought my first was used and it had 100K miles. I had it for several years and it was never a problematic car. Your DH got a nice car! Good for him!

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

Just stopping in to let you all know that I'm still around. Very busy at work, so don't have a lot of time to get into anything. Everyone in our family is fine. I had a nice time with my Mom and of course visiting my Dad. He is doing quite well, and the facility is taking good care of him. Might have something to do with my Mom bringing the staff treats all the time. :D I've done the upper body workout of LiTe, and today was 30MTF Train like a Contender. I will probably be doing this week as Upper/Lower and then total body. So that will probably be PHA, unless I get my new 30MTF workouts before Friday. ;) We do have snow on the ground, and it is COLD!

Have to get busy with catching up, talk later!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was LITE Stacked Sets Upper Body and Abs 2. I followed it with a Tabata spin and then yoga focused on the lower body. My legs are definitely talking to me after that Stacked Sets Lower Body workout yesterday, so the yoga felt fantastic.

Thelma, great workouts. These Stacked Sets workouts this week are doing the job for sure. My arms were shaking holding the planks in the Ab workout. So good! We never hit 30 degrees yesterday. Even now, the ground is still covered in snow though it is now melting. We got about 5 inches here, which is the most we have seen since we moved here. We have another cold front moving through Thursday which may bring a little more snow. Why couldn’t this have happened the week of Christmas? :D Anyhow, I love that you turn your Christmas tree lights into night lights. This year, I did keep a strand of lights on the staircase railing and my house is swimming in LED candles, and that seems to be helping me adjust to the Christmas lights being gone.

Laurie, thank you for checking in. I am so happy to hear your family is doing well and your Dad is being taken well care of. That is wonderful news. Your workout plan sounds wonderful. I watched a bit of the Green Bay game on Sunday and saw that it has turned pretty cold up there. Take care!

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Tuesday were Pickleball, XTend Barre Signature workout and Yinyasa Yoga.

We had a beautiful sunny day today. We didn't get above 45 but compared to the last couple of days, it felt like a heatwave. LOL

Laurie, welcome back. I am so glad your parents are doing well. I am sure your mother's treats for the nursing home's staff are helping to ensure your dad is well taken care of.
    Great job with your workouts!

Laurel, great workouts! I hear you on feeling the Stacked Sets Lower Body workout! I'm feeling the upper body too! Great workouts for sure!

I still can't believe you got so much snow. We had a lot of melting here today too and we will have that cold front Thursday and Friday. It is really a shame the snow didn't come at Christmas time!

Those LED candles are great! I bought a cast iron wax melting thingy at Tractor Supply and I've been melting pumpkin wax. I just love that smell!

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Cathe Live Boxing and Leg Blasts, XTend Barre Booty 1 and the core and stretch from Body Max 2. My legs were still feeling Monday’s Stacked Sets workout this morning, but I think the workout today helped ease those muscles a bit. Thankfully!

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you are still enjoying Pickleball. Like you, we had bright sunshine yesterday, but we are under another Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow. We probably won’t get snow here, but the temperatures are supposed to get very cold, so any rain we get will probably freeze. I would rather have snow than ice! But, boy, what a difference this week has made in the weather. From the AC to the coldest temperatures we really ever see here. So bizarre for here. Anyhow, I bet that pumpkin wax smells good!

    See you tomorrow.

Pickleball is a lot of fun. I wish I had more time for it. OMG we're also under a winter weather advisory. from 1PM till 3AM. I would rather have snow than ice too! This week has had all kinds of weather for sure! I can't believe how cold it has been and will be!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 30 minute Tabata spin into Stacked Sets Lower Body and Extended Stretch. My legs were still feeling a little shaky this morning, but the workout seems to have fixed that….until tomorrow. :)

Thelma, great workouts. We are under the same advisory, but it hasn’t been too bad here. Everything is, of course, closed. But we have just had rain. We’ll see what happens when the temperatures start to drop, though, and whether the roads are cold enough for that water to turn to ice. It has certainly been a bizarre weather week.

Hi Ladies, my workouts today were a Peloton ride, LITE Stacked Sets Upper Body + Extended Stretch, XTend Barre Pilates.

We had a very eggciting day today. One of our girls layed her first egg, our very first egg! It's a perfect, light brown egg!

It rained in the afternoon, then it turned raw, cold, windy and colder. I am not looking forward to this cold weather. I'm sure everything will be icy tomorrow.

Laurel, great workouts! I hope your legs will be better tomorrow. Stay safe and warm!

    Have a great weekend!

    Morning Ladies,

What a busy week at work. I was able to do LiTe Lower Body on Wednesday, 30MTF Weights Abs & Bootcamp Stretch on Thursday and this morning was 30MTF Lean Body Circuits Cardio Premix.

We had -2 this morning, but it was a good thing that the wind wasn't blowing. Of course Rocket is not happy that he has to put on his booties, but is happy that his feet are protected from the cold ground. My parents received 2 feet of snow on Wednesday night. We received some, but it was only a couple inches.

One of my co-workers last day is today. He is the one that owns the restaurant. They are planning on building a new facility this spring, so he needs to dedicate his time to that project. I have worked with him for 13 years, so this is going to be strange. I made a quilt for him, but it isn't quite done yet. I will just have to drop by his restaurant when it is done.

Laurel, Looks like your workouts are going great. I have enjoyed the LiTe workouts a lot. I'm hoping to get in the PHA workout tomorrow. We will see how I feel when I wake up. :D It was awfully cold in the basement this morning.

Thelma, You both are rocking the workouts. Congrats on the egg! I'm sure that you will have many more as time goes along. I hope that your weather isn't to bad. So far we have not had really bad road conditions.

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was LITE Stacked Sets Upper Body, Cathe Live Cardio Boxing Mashup and XTend Barre Core 1. That makes three boxing workouts this week. :)

Thelma, great workouts. Yay for the egg! That is so good!! Hopefully she keeps producing more. Our weather didn’t get quite as cold and icy as anticipated…..but cold enough. The wind chill this morning was 8. But there was little ice around. DH and I just returned from a somewhat chilly but enjoyable walk. Hopefully your weather isn’t too bad either.

Laurie, great workouts. Sounds like a good blend of programs. Yowza on the cold and snow, though. It just seems like winter decided to appear pretty suddenly and intensely this year. I am sorry you are losing a good co-worker. That always makes for a weird transition. Hopefully you will get to keep in touch with him through his new restaurant.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was nice and it finally warmed up. Saturday was a beautiful sunny and warm day. 45 degrees felt like a heatwave! Sunday was a rainy day.
Our little Oreo continues to lay eggs. She's only skipped one day so far. We had her eggs for breakfast on Sunday and they were good!
My workouts on Friday were Zumba, Slow Flow Yoga and Pilates Abs.
On Sunday I did a Peloton ride and RWH - Lift It Hit It Back, Biceps & Shoulders. Great workout!

Laurie, great job getting your workouts in, given your busy work schedule!
It's been very cold there! I'm so glad we're not going to be freezing during the day here. I can't deal with that anymore! LOL. Poor Rocket and his booties! I never bought them for Chico. I had to get him a new coat because he's gained a little weight and the coat, I bought him first doesn't fit him anymore. I got him a much nicer winter coat that is a little long in the back, but it covers him better that way.

How exciting for your co-worker to be expanding his restaurant business and dedicating himself to it full-time. It must've been really hard working a regular job and somehow dealing with the restaurant!
We're excited about our fresh eggs. DH actually went and collected Sunday's egg minutes before preparing our breakfast! So cool! Thankfully the weather wasn't as bad as predicted here.

Laurel, great workouts! Good job on the boxing workouts! I am loving this rotation. I am starting to feel that we should repeat it or expand it. I am thinking we should've done two weeks of each program!
Our weather wasn't bad. It did rain a lot on Sunday though and it turned windy at night.

    Have a great week!

    Morning Ladies,

Had a nice, cold and busy weekend. I got a lot of quilting done, because lets face it, who wants to go play in this cold weather. :D

I was able to get the PHA 2 workout done on Saturday, and Sunday was an off day. This morning's workout was LIHI Back, Biceps & Shoulders Premix #6. Even though I did the short premix, the body parts feel like jelly right now. I think that I used the right weight.

Laurel, Great job on your workouts! I'm interested how you felt with these workouts, since this is a very heavy week. Are you stronger after the STS, and able to lift heavier than Cathe? :) I kind of wish that we had some snow, this bitter cold is hard to deal with sometimes. We go to my ex co-workers restaurant periodically, so I will probably ask to see him if he isn't to busy. I'm debating if I bring the quilt top to work and have the trades sign it. He was their manager, so I feel like it would be fun.

Thelma, Love the workouts! I think that we agree on the LIHI workout being a really good one. I asked Laurel about how she felt after doing STS, so interesting in your experience also. ;) Glad to hear that your Oreo is doing such a great job. Chico must be doing well if he needs a new coat. Rocket's coat is also longer, so it covers all of his back plus. :D

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours was nice and quiet. Aside from running a few errands and doing some chores, we spent the weekend on long walks and watching football. It felt nice just to have a relaxing weekend.

For workouts, on Saturday I did a 20 minute recovery spin followed by 45 minutes of power yoga. Yesterday was a fun combo of a 30 minute climb ride into Cathe Live Lift It HiiT It Legs Live into a 30 minute barre class from Peloton. My legs were pretty shaky after, but they feel good today. So today’s workout was LIHI Back, Shoulders and Biceps, RWH Low Impact HiiT 2, and XTend Barre Pilates 2 (which was a fantastic but tough workout).

Thelma, great workouts! I am glad you are enjoying the rotation. It’s funny because today I was thinking about other workouts I should have incorporated into it, so I have a feeling we may end up expanding it even if not repeating it. Let me know what weeks you enjoy the best (in terms of strength training) for moving forward. I know for me that will be hard because I think I will enjoy something in every week! Yay for the eggs!! That is wonderful. Few things beat a fresh egg for breakfast for sure.

Laurie, great workout on Saturday! I love that PHA workout. I love the idea of taking the quilt to work for people to sign. That would be a wonderful memento for your co-worker to have. To be honest, six weeks post STS and not having done anything heavy since, I was surprised how strong I felt on that workout today. I pulled out my 35# dumbbell and thought to myself ‘this is going to be too heavy!’, but it wasn’t at all. I held with Cathe’s weight throughout (minus the lying rear delt raises, when I used 8# and she dropped to 5#) and probably could have gone a little heavier on the second set of one arm rows (where she dropped to 30#, I probably should have stayed with 35#) and barbell bicep curls (2-4lbs tops, though). So I definitely would say I am stronger having done STS. :)

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! My workouts on Monday were Gina B 2000 Steps, RWH Lift It HiiT It Legs and Xtend Barre Core.
We had a beautiful sunny day, but it was windy and cold.

Laurie, great workouts and good job getting all that quilting done! I love the idea of having your co-workers sign the quilt, but only if he really like them! LOL

How I felt after STS? Physically, I felt stronger. Mentally, I was exhausted and couldn't wait for the rotation to end.
Chico has probably gained 1 or 2 pounds. The original coat didn't have extra room, so he quickly outgrew it.

Laurel, great workouts! I'm glad you had a nice weekend!
    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was 30MTF Train Like a Contender W2. Nice change of pace for this one, just a little different than the usual.

I got my Kelly workouts yesterday, and the service that she uses sent me two copies of each DVD. I guess they are doing this with all the orders. I will venture over to the FB group to see how they will be dealing with sending the other copies back. :o

Laurel, Awesome job on your workouts, and of course getting to enjoy a quiet weekend. Thanks for the information on how you felt after STS. Something for me to look forward to when I have a chance to do longer workouts. I knew that I wouldn't be able to handle the weight that Cathe does, but I for sure selected the right weight. I'm feeling DOM's today.

Thelma, Great job with the workouts. Looks like you really worked your legs good. Our temps are very cold, but we are going to be warming up into the 30's. :) It will be nice not to have to put those booties on Rockets feet. He will have to wear them on our walks, just because of all the salt on the roads. I think that I would also struggle mentally with an STS rotation. I know that the last time I did it, I knew I couldn't do more than one month of each phase. I just around with my workouts all the time. :D I think that is why I like doing all these different weight workouts, I only have them for one week.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute spin followed by 30 minutes of yoga. Both felt good today. The yoga class did a lot of upper body opening moves which felt good on my shoulders and back after yesterday’s upper body workout.

Thelma, great workouts. I completely agree with being mentally exhausted after STS. I don’t think I realized how exhausted I felt until we were in about our third week of recovery when it was like a burden had been lifted. I love STS and have great results from it but it isn’t easy. I am seriously thinking next time we will do each workout just once….except for maybe Meso 2….and have a true recovery week (like the one we did right after finishing the last STS rotation) every two weeks. If we double Meso 2, that would still make it a 24 week rotation :o BUT 1/3 of those weeks would be recovery weeks. But I could also easily be convinced NOT to double Meso 2. :D And I know we said we would do another rotation of it this year, but I could also be talked out of doing that…..or at least waiting to start it until next fall or something. :) Let me know your thoughts please.

Laurie, great workout. That’s a bit strange about being sent two copies of DVDs per order. Seems like a very costly mistake. As I was saying to Thelma, STS is so good, but I completely understand not being able to do it while you are working, and I completely understand not wanting to double the rotation. While the results are gratifying, I also prefer to have more fun with my workouts these days. And doing these shorter workouts right now with alot of variety seems to have me looking forward to working out again because it all seems so…..tolerable. B)

    See you tomorrow.
