Question for Ladies: Big Muscles or Lean & Cut

1 & 2 most definitely. 3 & 4 just doesn't look natural, or naturally achieved. In saying that even Mr. Perfect Torso/Arms would be unappealing if he had a lousy personality. If someone didn't treat someone in a "nice" way, it wouldn't matter how he looked. People in his life would be collateral damage.0

My type is Picture #3 Buff. I like muscles!0
-
you look perfect, i don't like muscles.0
-
Lean and cut, definitely....... I've never been one to like the big muscular guys, but a little bit of muscle is sexy.0
-
I can NOT stand big bulky muscles... I think it is GROSS.
I like a thinner guy with definition... and some muscles... but over done is over done... I don't care what way you look at it..
But I guess it all depends on the person... beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
By the way you look great.. Good job!!
I didn't want you anyway...
I'll take you! nom nom nom BACON0 -
I'm still curious specifically what you women who say 'lean and cut' mean. Or 'lots of muscle'.
So I took 2 minutes and snagged some pictures:
Body type 2 - Lean buff.
My personal goal is somewhere between 2, and 3...probably slightly closer to 2...but with the bodyfat % of 3.
Also understand, all of these pictures represent pretty low bodyfat guys...some of us of course may not want to maintain that kind of bodyfat level.
Ladies?
2.
Um, yeah, 2.0 -
You look great! Be proud of yourself!
I think both looks are attractive, not sure that I prefer one over the other. As long as the guys is bigger than me so I can feel feminine (it is NO fun to be bigger than your mister!)and the heart and personality attached to the whatever sized muscles are nice and SINCERE, we're good. I actually think that men have an easier time of this (and maybe just don't know it?) Because I find that there is a really broad range of attractiveness to a guys. A little extra weight or thickness, however you like to phrase it doesn't detract from their looks as much as a little extra weight detracts from a girls attractiveness.0 -

That's what I told her .
Well, I said less than a 2, but maybe a bit more than a 1.5 lol.0 -
okayyyy.. what is this guy then?
You're picking guys that don't really fit the scale lol...!
I'd call him MAYBE a 2, because of the chest and shoulders...but again, he doesn't really fit.
Either way, his physique is insane.0 -

This guy looks like a 2 to me:
It's tough to judge...pose does a lot. I think the super slim waists on the other two mix up the numbers.0 -

Well I like him, he needs less veins though.0 -
I agree, lean and cut is way better than huge muscles. i was never into huge muscles, or the personality that usually comes with it. i know that's stereotyping, but just my thoughts.0
-
hockey player physique is my favourite. slim, but, broad shoulders.0
-
You look really good. I like guys with big muscles or average sized ones too. Scrawny is bad.0
-
okayyyy.. what is this guy then?
Total badass.0 -
I think it depends on the woman you're asking but I think lean and cut looks better0
-
You can add me to the more muscle category. Not the "monster" one so much, but definitely the buff to muscular with definition! However, with that said... you look great. Do what makes you feel good!0

Agreed. To me...the form follows function builds are the most impressive...and that guys form...is a temple to function.0 -
I read an interesting article last night about a study that was done that had women rate 2 pictures of men. One was a thin, yet healthy looking male with a very lean face. The other was more of a bulked up, slightly neanderthal face.(their words, not mine).
The study had the women look at it during their most fertile and then during their least fertile times of the month.
The conclusion was that women in the not fertile time picked the leaner looking pretty boy, while women in their most fertile times picked the he man that would look like he could protect her and her young.

That Asian guy is Timberwolf from Bodybuilding.com
He is a monster. Insanely ripped year round, been working out 20 years or something like that. He is "small" but looks massive because of his perfect conditioning...which is why these threads are so pointless. It all comes down to conditioning, i.e. bodyfat percent.0 -

I have a thing for guys that have nice arms. too mucch def makes them look gross as they are full of veins sticking out and kinda reminds me of a steroid freak (not that everyone who has big arms is like that) As long as you feel good who cares what everyone elses thinks...however you are def hot the way you are.
Good luck in your journey!0 -
