I've been doing the 100 pushups. There is a group doing it, although our numbers have dwindled. New members always welcome.

When I started, I could do 6 (SIX!) standard pushups. (Not knees). I've been at this for five weeks (repeated one week), so I'm doing the 4th week program. Yesterday I did 83, broken down into five sets, with 23 in the final set. Tomorrow I will do 86, or more, broken out into eight sets. While I would love to be able to finish this in 2.5 weeks, I fully expect to have to repeat some weeks before I'm done. I will keep going with the program until I finish, regardless of how many weeks it takes me.
I'd love to be able to do either the squats and sit-ups ... but only one at a time, and only once I make it through the pushups . I don't think I could do two programs on a regular basis, and be able to get through them. I know, for me, I'd be setting myself up for failure. Maybe an athlete could do them all, but I'm a 58-year-old grandmother, with a knee that's been a problem for a few months. (Physical therapy since June). If I can do it, why can't you???
That's awesome! You can tell your grand kids they have a tough grandma!0 -

It's a gradual program you work your way up. It's a 6 week program but if you're in good shape you can skip ahead and it doesn't take as long. If you're in bad shape you can do weeks over if you need to.
It's set up to do it 3 days a week plus an exhaustion test day.0 -
gotcha thanks!0

I started 30 day shred yesterday... So I don't think I can do both. But I think doing this for screw weeks certainly helped me start the shred.0

30 day is tough I can see how it would be hard to do both. I'm doing zumba but I'm only doing a partial workout untill I get through this. I'm in pretty decent shape in my legs but my core neds a lot of work.0 -
Okay, I had a little time off since the last one to help heal up a muscle that was hurting during squats, and I started Ripped in 30 on Monday. I'm back now:
Week 2 Day 3
Pushups 16, 16, 15, 14, 20 (81)
Situps 18, 20, 15, 15, 25 (93)
Squats 22, 22, 19, 19, 30 (112)
Dips 15, 15, 13, 13, 20 (76)
1 Plank for 90 seconds
I'm hoping to do the exhaustion test tomorrow before moving on to Week 3 on Monday.
I'm now counting the first two set of pushups from my Ripped in 30 workout (on my knees) then doing the rest on stairs, as suggested my meerkat. I like doing them there better since it bother my knees to do so many girlie style. My arms were absolutely shaking through the last set and the plank made me want to cry today.0 -

Well done! That's brilliant.
What are you going to do re your plank, start some variations (one leg up etc) or carry on building on the straight plank time?0 -
