With being prude. I want that special romantic moment where my foot lifts off the ground when I kiss the man of my dreams. I was dating a guy for 6 years. And I thought he was the one. And he cheated on me. Because I didn't want to have sex. I mean im 37 years old, I know my clock is ticking.
Do you not want to have sex ever, or do you just want to wait until you're married? It seems to me like having him wait 6 years and having him sleep in a separate bed is your way of getting companionship without acting as an actual girlfriend. You should have stated your intentions from the start instead of stringing him along.
I get that you want that special romantic moment, but if you didn't get that from the start of your relationship with this guy, chances are it's never going to happen with him. Although, speaking from experience, you might feel that spark with a guy from the start and still not have a faithful partner. Maybe if you can forgive this guy and trust him with the opportunity to take the next step in your relationship, you might have something lasting even if you're not seeing sparks, but you need to let loose a little.
Boyfriend/girlfriend relationships involve intimacy. Without intimacy, all you're left with is friendship. I'm not saying you need to rush into anything, but get real, woman, 6 years is a LONG time for a guy to wait. In all honesty, how much longer would you have him wait for you?

Everyone sees their womanhood differently and everyone saves different parts of themselves for the person they marry/choose/spend the majority of their life with/etc.
Some people save their virginity, and its beautiful.
Some people save their family and friends for the man they will marry, and its beautiful.
Some people save a secret they always wanted to share, and its beautiful.
Some people save buying a house until they find their 'one'. and its beautiful.
Some people save pets or children for marriage, and its beautiful.
Some people save their scars because they only want one person to know about them, and its beautiful.
Some people save anal sex for marriage, and its beautiful.
Some people save secret fantasies for the man they marry, and its beautiful.
Some people save church as the one thing they will only share with their husband, and its beautiful.
just because you've decided to share this specific thing with the man you fall madly in love with... doesnt mean the rest of the people on this list have no respect for their womanhood and that you have the right to ridicule them. You are not better. You just picked this specific thing to share with him. Other people have parts of themselves that are more important to them because of the experiences that life has thrown at them.

I had a friend who slept with a guy, got pregnant with his child, had the baby AND THEN he told her he was gay.
It's the OP's decision what she wants to do with her body, whether she wants to wait until marriage to have sex or not. She's not a troll, or a prude or anything. She has high standards and morals. Nothing wrong with that.

My Mom worked with this lady that saved herself for marriage. On their wedding night he asked her to lie in a bath tub full of cold ice water.
