    I have no problem with my husband having female friends on MFP, or him having a problem with me having male friends on MFP. If there is a problem with that, how do you let your husband/wife go to work with the thought of them possibly cheating then? or have a facebook account or mobile phone?

    Trust is everything.

    I predict a long, happy, intimate relationship for you. This is the source of ultimate happiness in a relationship. And you figured it out so young.

    I have male people on my friends list. If they say something funny I show my husband a pic or remind him who it is then read it to him. Male or female. I don't want to have an on line nothing but fitness relationship with them. They have given me no reason to think they are secretly "after" me.:sad: :laugh:

    If my husband can talk to a female friend more than me than we don't need to be married. I should be the only one who can comfort him and vice versa.
    We only have each other as friends on MFP... & its probably going to stay that way. On FB he does have a selective few Female FB friends but yes he's NOT ALLOWED to add any ex girlfriends or girls he had a sexual relationship with!! Same goes with me!

    I had close friends of mine try to hit on my man so I have a reason to be the way I am. I trust him but that's pretty much it. I do not trust females at all! :laugh:
    Many women seem to get jealous & want your relationship..... I have yet to find a friend I can trust. I watch everyone:glasses: but of course I don't make it obvious. You can't put anything pass anyone these days.

    My husband is my best friend & that's the way it should be. His friends are my friends.

    Everyone is different, everyone relationship is different.

    Friends are not a problem, but if you are on here or any other site looking to hook up with someone then it is wrong...Lots of cheating is happening on facebook #1 cause of divorce right now so I say just don't do it.

    But if I was - I'd still have males on my friend list - there would be absolutely no flirting going on or even saying they're looking hot.
    I wouldn't mind if my imaginary guy was on here either with females on his friend list but I would want the same respect (No flirting or commenting on appearance).

    If I am in a relationship with someone, I am extremely loyal and would be really hurt if there was an emotional online relationship my partner was taking part of - and yes I would consider it very much cheating and his butt would be on the curb if it was serious or got sexual.

    I'm single, and although I know I'll be judged for this, I was involved with someone who was cheating for 3 1/2 years, and it started as what seemed to be a harmless friendship on facebook (someone from my childhood who I hadn't seen in almost 20 years). I certainly didn't expect it to become what it did, but in hindsight, I think it is what she wanted from the very beginning, and she manipulated things to push it in that direction.

    It's easy for things to develop that way online. If someone is not happy at home, and they come across someone they are interested in, I suspect they let things get out of hand online because it seems innocent and not risky at first. From experience, however, it can quickly get out of hand. I say be careful if that is what you are doing.

    In serious cases, it might be carpal tunnel syndorme . . . from repetitive circular motions of the wrist I guess.

    If you must Frak around online, always remember to block your IP and re-route through a multihoned proxy, or at least spoof your IP and piggyback off a enighbors wifi.. its like giving the girl you meet in a bar, a fake name and number.

    If I was going to go online to get some action, it wouldn't be on MFP, great people and friends but not the right sight, head on over to FetLife, a lot more action over threre. The mods there encourage that behavior.

    I would LOVE to see a reliable source to back up the assertion that the number one cause of divorce right now is cheating on FaceBook.

    For me its a women only rule as any of the guys I've come across so far usually have ulterior motives even being on a site like MFP!

    Also out of respect for my husband as well as I wouldn't be happy about him having women friends - men and women cannot be friends without sex or innuendoes coming into the equation!

    I have plenty of women friends without the sexual innuendos. I may be the minority here and women and men cheat its not a gender thing.
