Yesterday I was talking with a customer who was decided what to order and he told me he was on Weight Watchers, I told him I was doing WW too and he and his wife asked how long I had been at maintanence. Made me very happy

I had 2 yesterday! I put on the shorts I wore on vacation 3 weeks ago, and I could pull them on without even unbuttoning them!!! I couldn't even wear them, they were trying to fall off. AND, as I was undressing, I took a look at my back and my back roll where my bra usually is are GONE! No more back rolls :D
  • I went on a mad vacation binge, but didn't do any serious damage...my well-fitting jeans still fit well!

and I'm back on the horse and ready to jump to the gym tomorrow...no beating myself up over enjoying myself...and no "all-or nothing" attitude...

This MFP stuff is sticking and I'm plain proud of myself!!

No butter with those rolls! Good for you. And pants falling off from 3 weeks ago! Big progress, and quick.

Made it all the way through my running sit ups with my trainer without stopping. Twice (1 minute each go around)! That's the first time that's happened!

I went down a shirt size! 30 pounds has equated to almost three pants sizes but still couldn't move down in the shirt department because of boobies. no more X's for me! Bought 2 mediums and a large. Wooohooo!

Comfortably am wearing size 34 pants for the first time in 3 years. Stoked and feeling great! Also, had to buy a bunch of new clothes last week, nothing I had fit anymore!

My arms do not rub against my lovehandles anymore when I walk, oh, and I also fit into my nice going out top that I had bought five years ago and never wore because it never fit! This was not a day or week NSV but never mentioned it before. =) Sp proud of myself!

This morning I realized my double chin is gone! I've always had it, also when I was younger and just chubby, so my face has always looked fatter than my body. During my weight loss I have lost a lot on the cheeks, but the chin wouldn't leave. Now it seems like the last pound has been taken straight from my chin

At work yesterday, there were some cupcakes and cake in the lunch room. One of my friends at work was walking by as I was walking by and she said, "I look at you and I just can't eat that cake.", knowing I lost over 100 lbs.

It made me feel good that what I have been doing might be rubbing off on people.

I zipped up a skirt yesterday which used to fit me, just, and would feel quite tight and uncomfortable by the end of the day. Yesterday I zipped it up, tucked in my shirt and off I went to work, no marks, no pain nothing!! It didnt feel tight at all.

I've also managed to skip on desert when I was out for dinner the other evening!

Had a really stressful day at work and I used my scheduled gym session to wind down. It was a great one too, really enjoyed it.

Also had a few really nice weight loss compliments from random people in my work building - why is it (basically) strangers make these comments but my friends say nothing whatsoever?! Really bizzare....
  • Today marks exactly half way of NO CAKE AUGUST for me. I'm really proud of myself as cake is a KILLER! I'll even eat a torte at a 9am meeting for work at a cafe. I love cake, I could eat it every day. Any kind of cake. Even dry over cooked cake.
But, I'm not worried about it anymore.
I've also only had 1 diet soft drink this month too! *proud*

My weakness food is cheesy popcorn, and a lot of it. It's 1/2 cup of kernels popped in peanut oil over the stove (comes out to be about 12-16 cups popped), then 2 tbsp of melted butter, salt, and 3 oz of shredded colby-jack cheese over the top.

I used to indulge in this snack about 3-4 times per week. It's no wonder I've gained 125 pounds in the past 5 years. Anyway, I've been doing really well cutting this out of my diet or at least greatly restricting the portion size. Last night, however, I was craving this SO BADLY. I almost gave in a few times, but ultimately made it through the night WITHOUT my cheesy popcorn :) I was so proud of myself this morning!

Went on a group ride organized by the local bike shop and A guy I've known for a while (and looked up to as a mountain biker) and I were talking. He said "So you're getting pretty fast huh?, I didn't realize that was you at the end of that last race."

I rode my bike to work today! (7.5 miles) I wasn't so scared of the distance though, more the traffic... but I survived, feel great and it was relatively easy!
