I had a miracle healing from gallbladder disease! Five doctors told me I'd have to have it removed. One day, during one horribly intense attack, my dh called me and said he was tired of it, put his hands on my stomach and said, in the name of Jesus, your gallbladder is healed! Immediately I ran from him, threw up all over the bathroom and all the pain stopped. Haven't had a gallbladder attack in three years, prior to that day I was having them 2-4 times a week.

It was amazing, and I'm amazed by the power of God every time I think about it.

Part B----I was once strip-searched by US Customs from a flight from Guatemala City in retaliation--after I lipped off to a customs agent with a drug sniffing dog--that I was being profiled--

I was very young and very dumb

And now I no longer fly

I was digging through my Mom's papers when I was 16 and needed my birth certificate. I found a paper from an adoption agency talking about a little girl born with out-toeing on both feet (feet turned outwards). That was me. I ran out of the bedroom screaming and crying about why I was never told I was adopted. Turns out I have a half sister who was born with the same deformity. My Mother had her when she was 16 and placed her up for adoption. 7 years later she found my Mom and we've been sisters in every way since. She's even my friend on MFP and was one of my inspirations to do this.

At 16 I was transplanted from the USA to a small Micronesian island called Saipan. All the amenities I took for granted (clean running water, consistent electricity, sidewalks, etc) weren't there. Probably one of the most defining moments in my life because it was there that I actually learned about how fortunate I was and that at that time (in the USA) I was wasting my education (started cutting school) and talent. It taught me how to take every opportunity and make the most of it.

When I was in grade school, a car crashed into my classroom. No one was hurt but it was pretty scary.

    I stopped an impeachment.

Edit: Additionally, my GGG grandfather stood vigilant for President Lincoln's railroad car during the U.S. Civil War.

Nothing too weird but I have a gigantic birth mark on the left side of my body and its about the size of my hand. Ever since I was a kid when I would go to a Doctors office or somewhere to get examined I'm always asked what happened there. There have even been a couple of times where Doctors have wanted to talk to me in private and ask if my parents had abused me.

    Interesting parts of my life...

Did fashion modeling in Manhattan at age six. Did beta-testing for a college research study based on computer programming in python, when I was twelve (it really messed up their research since the whole thing was aimed at college-age people). Got my high school diploma at age fourteen. Traveled around the states and Canada alone at age sixteen. Studied Aikido for four years and was only a few months away from black belt when I moved out of state. Became vegan for a couple months when I got my first job in Portland: working fast food at the Greyhound station (so rebellious of me). Wrote four novels, two of which I completed in one month. Threw a rave after it was cool.

Too bad I thoughtlessly signed up with my real name, otherwise I could say even more "interesting" things, ha ha.

I don't remember it because I was young and dumb. I overdosed and woke up in the hospital 3 days later where they told me about it. Lots of residual rib pain (CPR breaks ribs) but I learned from it and NEVER touched another drug, stopped smoking and drinking. Now I am a nurse who takes care of people who are detoxing.
