    What would I have done differently? We took them out for dinner and it was pizza, wings and beer. :ohwell:

    No problem! We can do this! I went to my doctor the other day... I started talking to him and he said "that is just an excuse". Sort of a wake up moment for me. Told me to work out 5 days and week and cut the carbs down. I like that fact that he was so blunt! LOL

    What is today's personal goals? Log my calories, check in and a trip to the oral surgeon. Biopsy on the inside of my cheek - can't imagine that I will be over eating today. And relax!!!!

    a chocolate bar to share. Mind u we were sharing but I could have done without it.

    Still not fully back into the groove after being out of town.

    Did go to Aerobics class on Thursday evening. And, today did back exercises including 40 crunches & planks, too. Also, did push-ups.

    Now, if I can just get the dieting back under control... and water increased.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? did 35 mins on the elliptical - super slow yesterday but I did it - started on Dexamethasone (steroid) on Sunday for my autoimmune disorder...UGH... I was better off not reading the side effects. Not going to let it get to me!!!! Will work out 5 days this week and check in so Shirley isn't all by herself :bigsmile:

    I've been letting this autoimmune thing get inside my head... The biopsy came back positive for the autoimmune disorder but no cancer so I will put my blah blah attitude behind me and get busy!!! Thanks for the motivation! WE CAN DO THIS!

    I love daily check-ins. My mom was visiting for the past three weeks and I admit I fell off the wagon. Gained a few pounds but am hoping it is mostly water weight. We'll see in a few more days. I was doing Herbal Life but admit I get so darn hungry having nothing but the shakes during the day with a few snacks. I end up eating too much at night then. Today I started out with a big healthy breakfast and we'll see if that makes me feel better.

    What would I have done differently? too much chili for lunch - felt sick afterwards, need to not eat when I'm full

    Thanks for getting me back here again Goldk! I'm so glad your biopsy wasn't cancer, hopefully you won't be affected by the side-effects of the steroid they put you on ... they have to list lots of possible side-effects but that doesn't mean you will necessarily have them - hopefully not!

    I'm working at 5-6 day a week workouts, and less carbs too. I can do ok for a few days, but have a hard time stringing a good week together, and I'd really like to do well for a whole month and see what happens on the scale!
