What would I have done differently? Ate popcorn at the show and it was so salty and dry. Should
have had something else.
What is today's personal goals? Eating right, exercising, drinking water
Monday - Bicycle, 10-12mph, 48 mins., 8.4 miles, 286 calories
Tuesday - One hour Pilates class
Wednesday- Cleaning day
Thursday - Bicycle, 10-12mph, 64 mins.,10.9 miles, 370 calories
Friday- Walking 2 miles
Saturday- No exercise, took day off
Sunday- Bicycle, 30 mins. 326 calories. (turbo trainer)
Goldk: Good to hear everything is alright with dermatologist check up.
I am now using my turbo trainer with my outdoors bike, indoors. My calculator would have
to be changed so I am just going to leave it. So I will be calculating my calories with
the calories from my recumbent bike or stationery bike. I can only calculate time on
this new trainer. I would have to get an HRM and I don't know if I want to put out the
money for that. I guess the end result is getting the work out in that's what is important.0 -

What would I have done differently? Beating myself up today - why can't I do this? I've done it before!! It felt great 30lbs lighter! Why don't I have the desire, motivation, determination (besides being lazy). Did great all day yesterday... went out to my sister in-laws house last night for a home demonstration and 2 glasses of wine, chips, dip, salsa... UGH!! no self control! I printed out this saying - Eat to meet long term goals, not short term satisfaction! Still not mentally there :grumble:

GoldK: I know how you feel. :sad: I am feeling very frustrated too. I have done this in the past
many times and can't seem to get it together. I have been exercising everyday and getting a
sweat one and the scale only drops a few ounces if any. Up and down, up and down.
I am so sick of being in the 180's. Pretty soon I will have to change my ticker again. :explode:

I feel the same way as you both do...
I can't seem to get my act together.
Sorry I've been gone a few days. I am out of town, again. This trip was totally unplanned. A friend's ride fell through & she needed to get to Memphis, TN. Plane flights are terribly expensive in that market, especially last minute. So, I decided to take my dog & drive her in her car to Memphis. It is an 8 hour drive.
Typically I have to snack to stay awake, but I did NOT snack this time. I didn't log what I ate, but I am pretty certain that I was either at or under in calories. I haven't done as well, the other days, but definitely not going crazy on food like I used to do.
I have been walking but not long distances. 5-15 minute walks one or two times per day. Also, attended a convention yesterday and today, so plenty of walking there. I will be in Memphis a few more days. I am getting ready to do back exercises & push-ups, now, & plan to do an exercise DVD or attend a Zumba class every other day, starting tomorrow. I brought Leslie Sansone & Turbo Jam DVDs with me. And, if I can find an early morning Zumba or aerobics class, I hope to do a couple of those.
I have not been very good with food, but nor have I been bad. Meaning, NOT eating non-stop! Have watched the quantities & made wiser choices (salad instead of fries, etc), but did have a few bad snacks. Like potato chips & cashews -- however, I did not eat whole or half a bag, etc. as I used to.
Now, that I finally had a chance to get computer/internet going... I will try to log in daily.

I have to start being stronger and saying no to after dinner eating. Its mostly my husband that
will start this. I usually try to eat nothing and drink water but he always wants something so
I have to be strong and say no or I am not going to get where I want. :ohwell:
The other thing I have to do is get an HRM to get my calories on my bike.l
