Saturday- Not a planned exercise day but will be walking, out for the day with friends

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Didn't set any
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? stayed under on calories w/out exercise. Got back fro Vegas on Friday night - kept my eating under control at the conference (food wasn't that great). I didn't have any dessert the entire time (unless lots of kettle one counts...LOL) Much to my surprise I didn't gain any weight (this is a first...LOL)
What would I have done differently? more water - beef stew for dinner had a lot of sodium in it

Goldk - so the question is ... did you come back from Vegas with any extra $$$?
I'm not a hardcore black friday shopper ... a friend and I usually try to meet after the early morning rush and before the all day shoppers get there later morning ... so we usually try to squeeze in a couple of hours when it is the least busy.
Did you stay within your nutritional goals?yes - since I am upping my calorie range to 1700-1900
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? yes
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? made mostly good food choices - didn't stop and get the chips and dip I felt like since I was feeling sorry for myself since I am sick with ear infections.
What would I have done differently? could have made a better choice for dinner than a baked potato - even if it was small
What is today's personal goals? stay under calories and eat in balance the rest of the day, hopefully fit in step today, but it is iffy with still feeling sick and hopefully closing on our refinance this afternoon

Lstpaul - no didn't come back from Vegas with extra Vegas $ - I won $1,000 on a $2 scratch ticket before I left so I didn't lose that much. :bigsmile: and my company paid for the trip so I only had to pay for my husband's ticket and play money. However - 5 days in Vegas is wayyyy tooooo long... LOL

I am ready to start back to losing some weight. I have somehow managed to stay the same weight for a couple months... and I am actually very happy that I have not gained. But, now it is time to be serious, again.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? stayed within my calories without exercise. Went for my annual physical yesterday - doctor told me to lay off the carbs. He also told me you don't need a lot of food to survive and to keep my eye on portions. I told him I knew what to do but it was easier said then done...LOL He told me to pick a salad over pizza - LOL - Really? But the pizza just taste sooo much better. Ah yes... and there lies my problem :laugh: I love my doctor and his honesty!!!

we went out for the Festive Special at Swiss Chalet. My husb thought he was doing me

If you have issues, they want the numbers lower. We just can't win.
I have issues and weight is part of the problem. So I try and try and can't seem to get where
I want. I am looking at the 150's and maybe then my issues will be better. I am still in
the 180's and fighting everyday to lose. How about u?

I am 5'7" got down to about 178 3 years ago... met my husband.. started eating out more...got married... got comfortable... no routine over the summer... I have all the excuses in the book. :noway: 5lbs here and there - over 200 again and fighting to lose everyday :explode: My numbers were much better 3 years ago and my clothes felt sooo good!0 -
