Are men wired to cheat...?

Am I wired that way? I've cheated and more then once, I find the female body irresistible, yes I can stop myself but most of the time I don't want too.
I certainly hope you warn prospective dates about this sleeziness.
yep I've learned the hard way. It's best to be open and honest from the start. for some reason I find it hard to stay with just one woman0 -
Men are wired to have erections.
Whom/ What they decided to do with it is their choice.
it's such a good feeling0 -

I give you mad props for being honest. Because I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of these "every other woman is ugly once I'm in a relationship" dudes are lying out of their *kitten*.0 -
Ok, I have to admit at this point that I do not have the time to devote to further intro-to-science classes - I have a job to do (as a scientist, somewhat unsurprisingly). However, I will close with this.
Evolution by natural selection is not 'a coincidence'.
Science is a process. We collect small pieces of evidence and fit them into a whole. From that we make assertions (not claims of proof) based on the weight of evidence. Science is often wrong, but by correcting and continuing to question what is currently known, it corrects itself and advances.
If you want to argue about the validity of scientific practice or knowledge, go crazy, but at least try to represent it correctly.

Well, if you're honest about it, then it's not sleazy! :laugh:0 -
not all men just the immature douchey ones :flowerforyou:0

nope; they are not and if someone is saying they are....such a copout. Real men do not cheat. I can tell you I know plenty that do not and that includes my husband of 23 years.0

My mom and dad are about to celebrate their 25th anniversary and had been together 3 years before they got married. My dad has never cheated on my mom and my mom has never cheated on my dad because they both know it would be unacceptable. A good man ( or woman) won't cheat on you because you will be more than enough for them,0

Being "wired to cheat" and actually cheating are two different things. I think that males do have natual instincts to stick our thingy into holes when prime opportunity arises, but being human we have a choice on how to respond to these urges.
I do a lot of horrible things, but cheating is not one of them. If I don't want to be monogamous, I don't enter a relationship.0 -
That your aware of.JK0

NO, we are not. Most of us are wired to want one, and only one significant other in our life. The odd one, is not like that, but not the majority. The shoe fits on both sides. I'm sure any man that has had a woman cheat on him might ask the same thing. But I think the answer is we are all wired differently, but we should not all be branded as such.0

No, men are not wired to cheat. Although that stereo-type may apply to some men, it doesn't apply to all. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to identify the men that don't fit that stereo-type. Good luck.0

I don't feel immature or douchey
I tell a woman I like multi partners0 -
Just curious. I think it's a cop out, but I also know some with this excuse every day!
I guess one could make an arguement that based on the actions of other male mammal species that we're not wired to be monogamous. Honestly I think if a man cheats (coming from a man who has) they're honestly just not happy in their current relationship and maybe even a little insecure with theirself.0
