I'm doing low carb so I have fried eggs, bacon, and 1 slice of low carb bread with butter. Since the bread has 5 carbs, uterus only slice I get all day. Sometimes I have scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese. This is my biggest meal. I have a salad for lunch almost everyday.

uterus diet?

It's a good plan, a lot of womb for flexibility.

Don't jump into this all at once though. Baby steps.

I'd like to apologize for my earlier behavior...

    ...it was very infantile.

    <crickets>

I guess people aren't ovary interested in this particular diet.

    Well, they should be.

The results of this diet are remarkably reproducible.

It's certainly better than some of these other ill-conceived diets.

I don't want to belabor the point, but it's definitely worth considering.

Might be time for an early termination

    EGGsactly.

    SPERMAGEHRD! I LERV THERS THRERD!

Bumping this thread to induce more breakfast responses.

    Yeah, I know...I probably shouldn't push it...

This truly is my crowning achievement.

My go-to breakfast is one egg, two or three egg whites, scrambled with salsa, and an english muffin with PB and banana. All the goodness!

You can make eggs in the microwave. You can even poach them in the microwave if you're not a scrambled kind of person. Google some instrux!

I bake a whole package of turkey bacon in the oven a little less than done on Sundays and then reheat in the microwave during the week. I also make Egg McMuffins and freeze to reheat during the week and these quiche cups:

    Quiche Cups
    Serves 6 – 2 per serving

1 package (10oz) frozen chopped spinach
    3/4 cup liquid egg substitute
    3/4 cup shredded reduced-fat cheese
1/4 cup diced green bell peppers
    1/4 cup diced onions
    3 drops hot-pepper sauce (optional)

Microwave the spinach for 2 1/2 minutes on high. Drain the excess liquid.
Line a 12-cup muffin pan with foil baking cups. Spray the cups with cooking spray.
Combine the egg substitute, cheese, peppers, onions and spinach in a bowl. Mix well. Divide evenly among the muffin cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Quiche cups can be frozen and reheated in the microwave. Any combination of appropriate vegetables and reduced-fat cheeses may be used,

So when I awoke this morning, my kids were downstairs chanting, "fetus! fetus!"

Well, that's what I thought they were saying. Turns out they were just hungry and wanted to be fed.

This probably sounds weird but whole grain toast with avocado or whole grain toast with crunchy peanut butter and a drizzle of agave nectar. Usually with a few ounces (a juice glass portion) of grapefruit juice.

Egg White Omelet with spinach, turkey sausage, peppers, cheese or a healthy cereal with almond milk and usually a banana!
  • Crazy embarrassing, but I woke up craving a tuna sandwich, so that's what I had...but I brushed my teeth before kissing my wife good morning.

I posted this in the recipes section already but this is my favourite thing to eat for breakfast, hence I usually have it 4-5 times a week. 1 slice Silver Hills 16 grain sprouted bread, clover sprouts, tomato, 1 farm fresh (from down the road) poached egg, dash salt, and a few course grinds of pepper. Doesn't this sound yummy but wait until you see the picture...delicious!

i'm boring and only eat 2 different meals and sometimes, like now i get stuck in a food rut and have eaten the same meal for months.

breakfast 1- an english muffin, toasted, with 1tb of white chocolate pb...amazing! plus, a cup of coffee with sf coffee creamer

    or

breakfast 2- special k cinnamon pecan cereal. i'm weird and measure out exactly 1 cup. plus coffee.

breakfast 1 keeps me filled for much longer so thats what i usually have.

I'm a low glycemic gal myself.

Breakfast consists of sausage patty, 2 cups of arrowhead puffed rice and a serving of whatever fruit is in season.

I am in love with those morning star farms breakfast sausage patties. My day is not complete without one of those babies. 80 calories, 3 g fat, 0 cholesterol, 260 mg sodium, 3 g carbs and 10g protein.

Lots of great ideas on this thread!
  • I make a breakfast sandwich

    1 multigrain english muffin
    2 egg whites
    1 slice of turkey bacon
1/2 a slice of provolone cheese (my favourite is low fat mozzarella)
    heat then go.

I make enough for myself for all of the days I work.

I also make crepe wraps. super easy and simple. especially if you want something more sweet rather than savoury. I premake them as well. Then I have something to choose from for the week :)

1 whole wheat crepe (I make them myself)
    1 tbsp nutella
    1/2 cup of slices strawberries
1 tbsp of greek yogurt 0% fat
sometimes I add a tsp of coconut flakes

I start work at seven thirty in the morning so on work days I keep it simple. My multivitamen and my cod-liver oil with a cup of unsweetened almond milk and 3/4c-1c of a healthy cereal (Special K Red Berries right now). Do not forget a good cup of coffee!

Protein load, my breakfast is the same every morning, its about 400 calories. I cook eggs and turkey bacon ahead of time so its super fast to make. One high fiber wheat english muffin, 2 pieces of turkey bacon (I like the eating right brand from safeway), 1 egg, fried with olive oil, and about 0.8 ounces of skim mozzarella cheese. Probably not the best choice but I love it!
  • I've been making maple brown sugar oatmeal.

    1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
    1-2 tbsp flaxseed meal
1-2 tsp brown sugar (light or dark; I prefer dark)
1 tbsp REAL maple syrup (not the pancake aunt jemima stuff)
    1 tbsp soy protein
    1 cup water

I mix the oats, flaxseed meal and brown sugar together, add 1/2 cup of water and let soak overnight (usually stick it in the micro ready to go). Add the other 1/2 cup water in the am and stir well. Microwave in 1 minute increments, stirring after each until done. Stir in soy protein and maple syrup when done (I've tried adding both before but it didn't work well).
  • what about some low fat cottage cheese with strawberries some almonds or walnuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon.. keeps me going for quite awhile
  • 1 packet plain instant oatmeal
1/2 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    2 tbsp chocolate PB2
    1 tbsp chia seeds
    a dash of cinnamon

and a sliced up apple with 1 tbsp almond butter on the side

    it's the greatest.
  • Do you have a recipe for the oatmeal bars. Sounds really good. I usually have plain nonfat yougurt 1c with 1 tbsp chia seeds and about 1 tbsp of protein powder.
  • oh, my normal breakfast,

coffee with a little bit of cream (much better than the little bit of coffee I used to have in my cream and sugar)
I have a bunch of fruit trees in my backyard, so I try and keep it fruit until 11:30, with a big breakfast once a week and every couple of weeks, I split a bagel with my wife, because just fruit doesn't seem to cut it that day.

I eat several different things for breakfast. Some days I eat frosted mini Wheat's.(21 pieces). I also like to eat Jimmy Dean's Delights. . I like to eat cottage cheese and to add a little more flavor to that I add some black berries, flax seed and pumpkin seeds. I learned that from my cousin but she uses Greek yogurt. Peanut butter on 100 calorie sandwich slices is also good. I like a little variety not the same thing everyday.
  • black coffee, egg white, and/or fruit.
    OR a Protein Shake
