    Hi, all.... given the problems I had with my digital scale I am assuming a 4lb weight loss for January..

    January starting weight was 231.

    February 1 weight is: 227.2 (which seems to be weight the scale is giving me with its new battery in place)

    March 1 goal is: 222

I am really excited about starting a new program. Ready to sweat the rest of this weight off. I hope everyone has a beautiful Monday and week. Keep up the awesome work. :bigsmile:

    January 4~ Starting weight 150 lbs. (This was the actual start date for my weight loss attempt)
    February 1~ 140 lbs.
    March 1~ Goal 135 lbs................. this rate should get me into my wedding dress just fine! :laugh:
    I didn't take starting measurements so here is for this month~

    Neck~ 13 3/4"
    Chest~ 37 1/2"
    Waist~ 35 1/2"
    Hips~ 40 1/2"
    May we all be five pounds lighter this time next month!! :flowerforyou:
  • Whoo! I'm so ready for this month. I am nearly all moved in to the new apartment and have found times when the gym isn't crowded. And our furniture is on coasters on the wood floors so I can just scoot the table out of the way to do DVD workous and Wii Active :-) Plus I ordered a HRM this morning. Let's do this!

    February 1st weight: 168.5
    Goal for March 1st: 163.5

    I was 175 when I graduated college last May and have been hovering around 170 since October. Now that I'm out of the 70s, it's time to get below 65! The day that I see the 50s....oh sweet jeebus, I'll bust out the suitcase full of my cute clothes and let myself try them on hehe. It'll be like going shopping, but for free!
  • Febuary 1 wt. = 204.0#
    March 1st wt = 199.0# or less.
    Neck = 16in
    Chins = 2 :)
    Bust = 47in.
    Waist =41.5
    Hips = 46
    Thigh = 23.5
    Just to break the 200# plateau will be enough for me! I just signed up for my first 5K and I'm hoping the training that goes into it will give me another incentive to exercise!

    Chicken Fat Go Away.....when I was in elementary school we used to exercise to this album in PE . Exercise helps like DVD sure make it easier. I just had to comment because it brought back memories of my childhood.

    Phyljen, I hope that these instructions make sense!

    1. Go to the page where you choose/program your Ticker.
    2. Click on the link, "Get the code for your ticker"
    3. Copy the HTML code from the box at the right-hand bottom of the page.
    4. Go back to the message boards and click on the "Signature" link in the Message Boards menu bar.
    5. Paste the code that you've copied into the "Signature Box"
    6. Save changes - it should show up with the rest of your signature!

    Good luck!

  • Congratulations Pam, Jennifer, Lisa, Wonderwoman, Buggaboo, Angelwings, Poisonsugar, Jenn, Phyljen! Woo Hoo! All of us lost weight! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

    Welcome CMurphy, Kelly, Maria, Gidget, Bev, Kdm, Eburton, April, Mom (hope you don't mind the abbreviation of your screen name) - it's so great to see so many new faces! You will love this group - everyone is so supportive. And congratulations again to all group newbies who lost weight last month.

    And thank you again, Tcasmey, for starting it all?

    Question - a couple of folks have mentioned workout plans already but was just wondering what folks' workout goals were for this month? I am asking because I am trying to figure out what I want to commit to for this and the next three months - I work for the Health Dept. in San Francisco and every spring we have a team in my office that participates in a citywide exercise challenge...

    Well the week of increased fiber and tracking my carbs to match my workouts has simply keept me at the 205 I have been stuck at for 3 weeks. :yawn: I realize that is still a 5 pound drop since December but it is still frustrating. :grumble: Hope February brings new insights.
    Congrats to all who are making the effort! :smile:

    I am reassessing my workout goals right now. I was planning on taking up running this year and work towards a 5k but running has made a chronic neck problem worse. (I cannot even walk right now as a lot of arm movement is irritating). I am back to using my bike and doing very light weights and lots of stretching until my neck feels better and then will start walking and maybe add a little running. Time will tell. The good thing I have my bike on a trainer so I can bike and not hurt my shoulder. TIme will tell for me at this point.

    I understand your frustration. 20 pounds is where I hit a wall and it seemed to take forever to get the scale to start moving down again. Hang in there. Maybe shake it up a bit. Try a new workout.
