    ah, that does it. if you hit "quote" (in the post) it puts the original post in the darker blue box. that's kinda cool, actually. so you know what you're referring to.

    you do have to go outside the [ / quote] in order for your post to not be in the quote, though.

    looks like there might be a difference between replying to your post specifically....

    The first quote starts your quote of the message the second quote closes it. You can snip a piece of what you want to quote by going between the quotes and taking out the portion you do not want. Then you type your reply after the second quote.

    The weather is cool here, but the sun has come out and I think I may see if I can interest my family in a very long walk around the lakes.
