Thank you so much for the very real and sensible advice. This is a tough journey, and its easy to put too much pressure on ourselves to do everything perfectly and get frustrated /give up when we don't see results right away.
Sincere congratulations on your accomplishments and thanks again for sharing.
All the best to you!0 -

Everything you wrote is spot on.
I'm currently in the trial and error mode which can get frustrating. Your post was good reminder to quit stressing and just take it day by day.
BTW does anyone have the link to the fellow MFP (blond female) who lost 100+ pounds without surgery. I searched all over and can't find her thread. I need to read her blog again.0 -
congrats on the weight loss0

Thanks for the great advice!!! You are truly inspiring!! I'm just starting out (one week in) and this post really put things in perspective for me. I am trying to see this as a day-by-day lifestyle change, but I've already "messed up" my perfect eating plan. This post helped me realize that I don't have to be perfect, I just have to make sure to take baby steps and remember that tomorrow is a new day!! I will come back to this post from time to time for that important reminder. Thanks soooooo much!!!0

I am SO glad I clicked this, it is as if you were talking DIRECTLY to me. I always tell myself.slow and steady wins the race, and that I don't want to deprive myself of say, an icecrem cone on a day out. thank you for all of this. I will be reading it often.0
