Ok, that's it.
I'm not cooking anymore. I'll just track y'all down and eat your food!
(seriously, everything here looks dangerously tasty)0 -

GF toast with peanut butter and fruit. The more peanut butter, the better.
Honey curry chicken with basmati rice! It looks like a plop of yellow, but it is SO tasty.
AAAAAND a 32oz "man mug" of Heineken! :drinker:0 -
Bro meal of peace. Salmon fillet (my favourite meal of all time), brocolli, carrot, brown rice.
I'm on a brown rice craze lately. It's just got this really nutty consistency I've been digging lately.0 -

Roasted chicken thighs, Steamed Broccoli and half of a twice baked potato.

Last night: chipotle-garlic braised pork, carrots, and onions over lentils; ubiquitous broccoli.
This morning: bacon that didn't crisp over a veggie souffle that didn't rise -- as Patton Oswalt would say, "a failure pile in a sadness bowl." Tasted great, though.
As an aside, do any of you have tips for making my photos look a little more appetizing with my phone camera? I'm terrible at presentation, but the crappy picture quality doesn't help. My house doesn't get much natural light and the electric lights make everything weirdly colored while the flash washes everything out and makes it unpleasantly glisteny.0 -

i have a friend who wrote a book and asked me to taste test-here is the result of Jamaican Cocoa Chili Fish. I used cod instead of the heartier recommended sword fish, and used jerk seasoning instead of a habanero pepper, and served it over spaghetti squash instead of rice, with a side of lima beans. I calculated calories to be about 455 for half the recipe, eating about 1/4 lb. of cod.

the book is called Eat Chocolate, Lose weight and will be available at amazon on Feb 4. This cocoa powder thing has me excited. It was so good it had my bald spot sweating.0 -

Hi avskk. Your pics don't look too bad.
I use Photobucket which has a pretty good settings system for adjustments. Then there are a number of free editing programs - Google 'Best free photo editing software' You can also place a lamp nearby and prop a sheet of white paper nearby to bounce light back onto the subject. Check if you can raise the exposure settings of your phone. On the next shoot take a number of pics, experimenting as you go until you get what looks OK to you. Good luck...0 -
Vegetable potstickers (and crispy oven-baked wonton on the left) served with nuoc cham! SO good.
Did you know wonton wrappers are actually super low calorie? Makes for a delicious, healthy option especially if steamed/baked
