I don't know what that bar is at the bottom of the screen but I'm drooling.0

I think it's the cheesecake brownie.
Brunch again here: B.B.A egg benedict (where BBA stands for Bacon, Brie and Avocado) with lemony Hollandaise on the side. So good!

This thread sure does encourage me to be more creative with my meals.
Tonight, in honor of the New Year's festivities, I created something new. This is a grilled chicken and penne spinach artichoke dip casserole. Wow. It was really good and really easy to make. Dessert was homemade pumpkin pie - a favorite of mine. Lots of calories, but I made it fit! (*)

Light lunch of gratinéed lamb meatballs in tomato sauce with a side of linguine with kale and garlic.
Yesterday, for New Year's Eve, we had a fantastic dinner with oysters, jerked snow crab legs, pan seared foie gras with cranberries in a red wine reduction and a grilled dry aged prime rib with celery root puree and asparagus. Because we ate late and my kitchen was dark, the only good picture I took was of the foie gras course, but still, here's the steak before being scattered with Montreal steak spice (plus the total mess my kitchen was).
The seared foie gras, toasted brioche and cranberry-red wine compote:
This morning hangover cure: toasted brioche with shaved leftover prime rib, gratinéed with some Avonlea cheddar and topped with avocado, salsa verde, a sunny side up egg and some Vermont ghostpepper hot sauce. With a side of bacon. Of course.
