    Protein rusks and coffee :)

Yummy! You just introduced me to this new thing (for me anyways). I sort of make 'rusks' only in cracker form (lots of seeds/nuts/oats/protein powder)

@crazyravr would you mind posting the recipe for the beard?

I hope you mean bread lol :)

Use this, and make sure to weight EVERYTHING including water and follow the rest of the instructions. The weight measures are posted in one of the comments. Otherwise this might / might not work.

whaahahahaa yes I mean bread lol

    Thank you very much :)

Urgh we dont get all-purpose or bread flour in the supermarkets. It's all just cake-wheat flour.

I buy almost all of my non perishable pantry items online now for this purpose. It's either that or hunt through a variety of super markets and specialty stores. Much easier to buy online.

I live in South Africa. We don't have the variety of online options that the rest of the world has lol

Where do you live in South Africa, Morgaen not to find bread flour?? Even in Namibia (now better known as Nambia) we have it

lol @Nambia. Yeah I heard about that.

I live in Cape Town but I cant find it in PnP, Checkers or Woolies. It's all just self-raising flour or cake cheat flour. The cake wheat flour seems to work well with the bread recipes that I have though.

    @vegmebuff Awesomeness :) I hope you like it. :)

I make all my meals and snacks on Sundays so I'm all prepared for the week. I make 6 of each of these to allow myself a cheat meal on Sundays (although I usually stay in a deficit). It makes things so easy and quick!

Breakfast: Oatmeal, broccoli, ranch dressing, hard boiled eggs. I add a spoonful of Nutella to my oatmeal and only eat the egg whites
Lunch: Roasted butternut squash with sage, bacon collard greens, chicken and beans in rosemary cream sauce. This is my favorite meal!
Dinner: Tarragon Swai (the fish changes based on what is on sale) and bacon Kale. I add half a diced avocado to this.
Snacks: Yogurt with a little honey and some type of fruit. This week is apples! I like roasting them with a little nutmeg and cinnamon, but I make those fresh when I have time.

Everything changes based on what's in season or what's on sale, but I generally keep to the same formula.

What a waste of nature's perfection.

Haha. Not a waste! I wouldn't do that! I have 2 egg yolks and two dogs. They get a breakfast treat!

Spicy Turkey and potato hashbrowns (I don't know what else to call it). Topped with 2 runny poached eggs. Spinach, rocket and cucumber salad with pomegranate molasses.

It came to 500 calories, but I am so stuffed. It was a HUGE portion.
