Its just radish. Very common around here. Sometimes we can get a hairloom variety as well and they are white, pink, purple, black etc. They look different but taste exactly the same.
Interesting. When we talk about "normal radish" here (which exists in different colors too but mostly white) we usually mean a bigger and longer version. The Radieschen I mentioned not only differentiates in size but is also milder in taste than normal radish which I assume is the reason why it gets its own name. I haven't seen anything as fancy as your hairloom rainbow radishes here though (at least in normal stores). Thanks for the info.
Something with radieschen.... my dinner:
Pork 'Gyros-style' with Tzatziki, roasted savoy cabbage and a small salad with baby spinach, cucumber and radieschen.

This is my homemade vegan Tahini Ranch Dip, made with tahini, Trader Joe's onion salt, Italian seasoning, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, and water. It ends up being a creamy dip for carrots, and other vegetables like celery, or red peppers.
This is my Avocado toast on gluten free seed bread with sriracha hummus, cilantro, garlic, and lemon juice.
This is a red lentil soup I made with red lentils, kale, onions, carrots, gold potatoes, zucchini, yellow bell peppers, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. I served it with light sour cream on top. It was blended about 2/3 of the way with an emulsion blender.
This is Japanese beef curry that I made with stew meat, gold potatoes, carrots, onions, and served it with calrose Japanese sticky rice.
This is my Avocado + red pepper hummus on pumpernickel bread.
A side salad I often eat with my Avocado Hummus toast. I use 2 tbsp. Bragg apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice with 1 tsp. Olive oil, 1 tsp. Trader Joe's onion salt, 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning, a dash of black pepper, 42g spinach, 30g red peppers, 14g shredded cheese, and 35g Canadian bacon. It's a very good side salad, and the dressing is amazing. I just make the dressing in the bottom of the bowl, and then I weigh out all the other ingredients into the bowl, and mix with the dressing.
This is my homemade beef stew.
This is a homemade rice and bean burrito with salsa inside, taco sauce, cheese, and cilantro. I topped it with more taco sauce, cilantro, and served with homemade guacamole, and light sour cream on the side.
This is a quick pasta dish made with fall zuccheretti (butternut squash) pasta from Trader Joe's (its shaped like pumpkins), autumnal harvest pasta sauce (tomato, pumpkin, and butternut squash in a sauce, but it doesn't taste like squash at all. It just tastes like a creamy tomato pasta sauce), and I also added browned turkey kielbasa, and topped with Parmesan cheese.6 -

My low carb, low calorie waffles. Topped with protein frosting, shaved dark chocolate and fruit. Heaven
Recipe, please?!?! Those look so good! I'm not low carb, but I like to eat all kinds of foods, and I've been trying to think of creative ways to get more protein in my diet. I was vegetarian for 5 years, but now I eat meat once, or twice a week, so I rely mostly on greens, grains, nuts, legumes, and dairy (eggs, yogurt, and cheese mostly. I'm lactose intolerant, so I have to watch the lactose content, which means I don't drink milk.) -- So, anyway, to say the least I have issues fitting protein in my diet, and I rarely can fit more than 45-50 grams in a day. It's a really good day for me if I can manage 55+ grams of protein, and my goal is to get at least 65-70 grams a day. I'd love the recipe for those waffles, and maybe get some additional protein in my diet when I allow myself a treat like that.

I just started taking pictures of food that I've made. I'm not great at the picture-taking part, but here's a few things that I've made recently.
Mushroom, bell pepper, tomato, bacon, and cheddar cheese omelette with whole grain toast. The peppers and tomatoes were from my garden.
Stuffed peppers with feta and orzo. Peppers were from my garden.
Homemade sloppy joes. All the tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and jalapenos were from my garden.
Chicken salad on a kaiser roll with romaine and beefsteak tomatoes from my garden.
Cheese sacchettini and mushroom soup.
Shrimp etouffee over long grain white rice with a homemade buttermilk biscuit. Peppers, onions, and tomatoes were from my garden.
My first attempt at making fried chicken. (I definitely did not grow up in the South, but I'm learning).

Thank you! This is the first time in 9 years that I've been able to have a garden. I love growing my own produce. It's a huge form of stress relief for me.
I grew beefsteak and cherry tomatoes, peas, green beans, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, corn, bell peppers, serrano peppers, jalapenos, habaneros, garlic, onions, carrots, radishes, strawberries, and a bunch of herbs.
I've canned 3 different types of pickles, salsa, quarts of tomatoes, and made numerous batches of spaghetti sauce and sloppy joes, as well as enjoying the rest of the garden as it grew over the summer. I still have enough tomatoes, peppers, and onions left to make another batch of salsa this weekend. I just made more stuffed peppers last night.
I'm definitely going to miss my garden over the winter. Hopefully, I'll be able to expand it next spring (garden was only 8'x8'), and be able to grow a few new veggies.1 -

How did you like the seasonal Triscuits?
The Triscuits are good- the ones that are seasoned enough. The seasoning in this box isn't evenly distributed, so some really lack any flavour. Goes well with sliced sweet potato on top! I wish I had the pumpkin spice one right now to compare this to because I'm pretty sure they're the same product...

Don't have a picture of my own, but I did this recipe for "Egg Roll in a Bowl!" I got it to be around 400 calories per serving. A 'serving' was heaping bowl!! (I used 1 tbsp of sesame oil instead of 2) and I served it over mixed cauliflower rice w/ green onions to help the volume. You could also amp it up even more by adding more coleslaw mix veggies. Super good, my family wants me to make it weekly!7
