PaulChasinDreams wrote: »On tonight's menu...Teamed up with my daughter to make a couple homemade pizza's. Home made pizza sauce and homemade dough with 5 types of cheeses. My daughter made a Margarita style with boccancini mozzarella, cherry tomatoes from our garden, fresh basil from the garden, and a strawberry balsamic reduction on pan style crust and I made a ham and pineapple in deep dish cast iron crust style. So delicious. Have been craving homemade pizza for a few days now. Even with regular flour my pizza only has 15 grams carbs/piece and the whole pizza only has 3000 calories. Not too shabby for a once and a while treat. And a smoooooooth, decadent espresso Macchiato keeps the engine running nicely 😋
Oh wow!
Looks good. What did you use for pizza crust?2 -

Uhhhhh, Paul....THANK you for helping me RUN from outta my self-imposed box/prison of "I don't like Sushi". Everyone in my family love Sushi and after looking at your tremendously impressive and yummy looking "homemade" Sushi, I'm going to have to give Sushi another chance (strictly based on your photos) FOR REALZ--looks like the YUM, period.1 -

Soft launch so everything discounted at 50% because the restaurant wants to do a dress rehearsal with a full restaurant prior to official opening. We shared the one of each option which was everything on the menu.

Homemade smoked brisket (wet brine cured in home toasted and ground spices and herbs for 8 days, then dried and spice/herb rubbed and cold air cured for 3 days then , then cold smoked for 14 hrs, then steamed to cook) sandwich on homemade rye/protein bread with homemade coleslaw, homemade mustard sauce and homemade garlic dill pickles. Curing and smoking foods is a labor of love for me. I smoke meats, seafood, cheeses, vegetables, even baked goods and pizza. Gonna smoke a cheesecake soon lol.
