travelling_lots wrote: »@pinggolfer96 I would strongly recommend air canada Bus class when you can. You would get choices and great healthy meals to choose from. To this day I have not been sorry about my meals or worried about eating the wrong stuff.
I’m not worried lol I’m enjoying myself

Not that typical for what I usually eat but I thought I have a go at a raw(ish) salad to go with some shrimps.
I hadn't put it on yet but I made a Miso, Ginger, Soy and Seasame dressing to go with it.1 -
Hmmm well that was somewhat of a fail. I noticed the app now allowed you to upload pictures but it's come out as an attachment not embedded...2

It comes out as an attachment on the app sometimes for me, especially when I am not using wifi. On a laptop it comes out embedded.1 -
Spaghetti squash and zucchini have been a few of my favorites lately.

I’ve been off sugar for a year. Looking at all that makes my tummy turn. In yucky way 🤪😝😖
Yep, I can imagine. If you've been off it everything seems far too sweet.
I'm a bit like that. The look of it gets me in but I can only take it in small portions, I wouldn't be able to finish it.

I think it’s amazing how our bodies work. Took me 3 weeks to be off sugar completely and when I get an odd craving fruit is more than sufficient to satisfy my sweet tooth.
But I’m a visual person, things need a good presentation to look good and try to eat. For sweets or savoury.2 -

I’ve eaten catfish overseas in a stew. But yours looks more appealing.

baked/broiled herbed lemon pepper chicken breast cutlets, rice, steamed parmesan-garlicky broccoli and garden veg salad. Looks like a lot; MFP calcs this as about 800 cals (100g protein, 16g fat, 11g fiber, 280mg sodium, 10g sugar), which fit in my 2000-cal/day budget (2000 cals before factoring in exercise [mostly cycling and swimming this summer]).

Yesterday’s breakfast at the hotel (buffet style) what isn’t pictured is the extra plate of food I had which was fruit, 4+ pieces of toast, and 4+ pieces of assorted French pastries lol.

One of the leads who’s very famous here in France took us to an amazing exclusive dinner...not a bad view right?? Lol bread, a very good thin bass dish haha, a medium rare filet, frites, small side salad, and then the 2 desserts (can’t remember the exact name or pronounce, and an espresso. We had the options of crab ravioli and I chose the bass and for dinner we had a lobster ravioli or the steak and I obvi went with the steak and frites!

@pinggolfer96 It is illegal to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night. What do they call fries in France? I don't think they originally came from France.
