I gaily doubt that considering probably every person not from there does it0 -
Please read my link (the word illegal) or search on your own. It is considered a work of art and can not be photographed at night.2

When I was up in Canada a couple of weeks ago, my daughter showed me another use for her InstaPot ... 4-minute cooktime on potatoes and eggs (together) for potato salad. Since I'm using our old jiggle-top pressure cooker, I adjusted the time to 5:30, speculatively, since it is less efficient than the regulated InstaPot. Here's the result, "Deviled Egg Potato Salad," using greek yogurt, not mayo, plus Dijon. Now I'm off to ride the bike a few miles to be able to eat some of this tonight, LOL! (To be served with grilled burgers and side garden salad).

Restaurant soft launch at a mezzes place. A soft launch tests whether a brand new restaurant can handle a busy service prior to the official opening. They ensure the new place is fully booked by offering a half price discount. Tonight's soft launch was a bit haphazard in terms of service. They didn't bring some of the stuff we ordered, but didn't charge us for what they didn't bring. They brought some stuff we didn't order, but didn't charge us for that either. Food was great though and a bargain. Duck bastilla and a grilled squid we didn't order. Hake tagine which we didn't order. Stuffed mackerel which my companion had already dived into before I could get a photo. Monkfish kebab. We never got the zalouk we did order.

I would go back at full price but concentrate on the charcoal grilled dishes which were excellent. Nice to see a mezzes restaurant that focuses on North Africa instead of the more ubiquitous Levant.1 -
Steak, guac, mashed potatoes and cauli rice.

Ribeye steak with chimichuri on top along with green beans and small potatoes. Basically almost everything I shouldn't be eating that night.

On tonight's menu...Teamed up with my daughter to make a couple homemade pizza's. Home made pizza sauce and homemade dough with 5 types of cheeses. My daughter made a Margarita style with boccancini mozzarella, cherry tomatoes from our garden, fresh basil from the garden, and a strawberry balsamic reduction on pan style crust and I made a ham and pineapple in deep dish cast iron crust style. So delicious. Have been craving homemade pizza for a few days now. Even with regular flour my pizza only has 15 grams carbs/piece and the whole pizza only has 3000 calories. Not too shabby for a once and a while treat. And a smoooooooth, decadent espresso Macchiato keeps the engine running nicely 😋
