Challenge 10 lbs gone by end of March

Yes, I'm in! I need to lose about 15 all together but would be happy with 10 by end of March. Really, I lose great if I stick with a plan that always works for me....NO sugar, NO white flour products or other bad carbs, and lots of lean protein and veggies. I use Ezekel breads and eat lots of eggs, chicken, and veggies and fruit. If you stick to this I swear the weight just drops. Oh, and lots of water and exercise moderately with some strength thrown in. I always feel great when I eat like this too, it's just hard to ALWAYs stick to it, which is where I gained 10 lbs...Christmas. Good luck everyone!0

I'm also in. It's my daughters 1st bday and it would be great to have another 10lbs of baby weight gone.
That would leave me with 5 - 7 to do.0 -

Good morning everyone!
Today is my one month anniversary with MFP. I've never lost weight in a healthy way and this month has been amazing. I made a lot of excuses over the years and am relieved, and a little annoyed, to find out how easy it is. I hit the 10 pounds lost mark today - which drops me out of obese, I've been craving edamame, fresh fruit, and water like a fiend, and when I'm on the treadmill I want to run. I'm a DD cup and have never, ever wanted to run :laugh:
It's exciting to see what happens in the next month for everyone on this board. If you're new know that this can work and it's not as hard as you might think. If you've been around a while thanks for being so inspiring.

Great job to all of you!! I'm down a pound since my last weigh in.....down 11 so far........but its actually 14, lost three pounds before joining this site........10lbs by March is doable.........you just have to want it bad enough.........and I want it bad enough.......I can't wait to get under the 200 mark........and i'm sooooooooooooooo close.....Might be getting a promotion at work, so I would love to lose the weight so I can go shopping for new clothes.........wooohoooo!!!0

Jan 1st weight 170lbs
SW 162lbs
1st goal 150 (March 30th)
2nd goal 145 (May 1st)
3rd goal 140 (June 1st)
Re-evaluate goal at this point, I am 5'7" and have to see how I look0 -

I felt better today than I have in a couple weeks at least. I have finally broken through my coffee/sugar withdrawal, it was a drained couple of weeks but I can feel my energy returning. I am ready to do this!! I have been here 3 and a half weeks, so far five punds down, and ready to shred my next ten. Feeling good about my weigh in on Sunday.
Lets do this everyone.

Just weighed in at work...lost another 2 pounds...so all together since we started (which has been 4 weeks) I have lost a total of 8 pounds (I had lost 1 pound before I started MFP)...so excited!! Love that this website keeps me motivated!!!0

How's everyone's weekend gone? I weighed in today to find NO loss on the scale :-( of course I was hoping, even expecting some. Tryin not to let it get me down. Still not giving up on ten pounds by end of March , but it isn't going to be easy! Going to step up the exercise routine a little. It can be done!!0

I just joined today. Boy was this calorie counting a wake up call to think about every calorie that you put into your mouth! I did horrible today but tomorrow is Monday and it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life and we are gonna feel good! Esp. by end of March! I'm going to do some cardio in the morning!0

Hey everyone!!! Sounds like everyone is doing great!! I have weigh in, in the morning!! I had a few misups this week. I had a peice of deep dish spinich pizza, God was it good, but it being 500 cal just for the one slice, it put me over 50 something cal for the day. Went out Sat. night and had 2 beers (they were lite)!! I wonder how it will count against me on the scale!!! :grumble: Just wanted to say GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!0

Okay everyone... March 1st is here. We are all doing so great. Remember a lb lost is better than one found! Stay focused and up for the challenge. I look at it like this. If I make 10 lbs by the end of March great, if not I know i will be close. Have a great day everyone!!!

The morning I first signed up fo this challenge, I weighed 201.8 (I think). But I was down to 196.2... I would loved to have started at my lowest weight, but I was having a rough time up til last week. Regardless, if I can make it to 191.8 by the end of this challenge, I will be VERY happy, so maybe I should go with 201.8 as my starting weight..
I weighed in today at 197.4, so since starting this challenge I've lost 4.4 pounds!! :bigsmile:
I also started Chalean Extreme today, and I fully intend on finishing the entire program... we'll see how that turns out!
