    80 minutes of cardio and I *still* didn't come in under my calorie goal. :blushing: Oh well... tomorrow is another day!

    At home: 15 minutes of morning yoga to work the kinks out

    At the gym: warm-up on the elliptical, then interval-cardio on the recumbant bike, then cooldown on TM

    Would have lifted weights, but the gym closed early ....... Happy New Year :drinker:

    Oh, and next year I'll be adding a Zumba class to my weekly routine !

    For me more important than my work out today was that I set a personal record for consistently working out in a month. I worked out 29 of 31 days.

    Sat up and sung to some music.
    Used the loo.
    Went downstairs, walked 0.03 miles to Tesco, bought some food, walked 0.03 miles home, put food in fridge, carried some food up the stairs.

    35 minutes of Tae Bo cardio. 20 minutes of dancing. 10 minutes of strength training. 6 minutes of squats. My muscles are on FIREEEEE.

    My goal for 2013 is to run like the wind but I've always had trouble with shin splits so decided to get in early and build up with interval training on the treadmill. Did 60 minutes (1 min walk 1 min jog). May need a couple of days recovery though :laugh: :sad: :sad:

    Yesterday was my last workout of 2012.

    I did 35 minutes of HIIT in the morning and in the afternoon I went on a 4 mile hike. It was an awesome way to say goodbye to 2012. :drinker:
