    Add me. I try to stay around 1200 but my trainer tells me I should be around 1400 to 1500. If I eat the higher end I consider it a "cheat" day.

    Being a fitness instructor I am here to help and by starving yourself will only lead to other problems. A lot of people don't know this but if the body does not get enough good calories then it will retain the calories it gets plus some from the muscles resulting in no weight loss unless exercising and confuses your body metabolism. Sorry this is for the guy at 900 calories.

    Well my deadlift has been going up 10lbs each session on 900 calories so I think we can throw that whole muscle loss thing out the window.

    nope sir we won''t be that group. nice try though. I went from 250 pounds to 179 pounds. haven't gained any weight back. if you want to gain some then go for it.

    haha I lost 71 pounds doing 1200 calories so far how much did you guys lose? when I get to my goal weight which is 48 pounds to go I will lose a total of 125 pounds eating 1200 calories. thank you very much.

    Hi, i'm relatively new but keep starting then giving up. I'm really hungry on 1200 cals but i'm determined to stick to it this time. :smile:

    Can anyone give me any good snack tips that fill you up pls? Got into a bad habit of drinking wine most evenings so that's piled on the pounds! I'm a single mum so spend most evenings on my own so I get really bored. HELP!

    trying to stick to 1200 everyday. Office job so not very active during the day. walk my little dog every night for half an hour but not really getting anywhere going to try a few 10min workouts as I am quite busy and find it difficult. It is amazing though how much food you can eat if you pick wisely during the day and still be under 1200 cals. Every morning I have weetabix with Milk, a piece of fruit and yogurt before my lunch break, a turkey or chicken wrap with salad or soup with no bread for lunch, and then not as stirct at dinner time but try cut down on portion sizes, bread and chips etc (jacket potatoes are good but I try not to eat too many of them in one week or day after day). and if I am still hungry I can have another piece of fruit and lots of water!!!

    would love someone to support me, I had a very hard lunch break and had to resist the urge of homemade lasange!!! I also have 4 pieces of bread calling out to me that I am trying not to crumble to!! :S
