How intimidiating do you think you are?

Read something last week about women intimidiating a member on here.. and it got me to thinking. I wonder if I intimidate people?

So do you think you do?

Myself, unless I'm at work I think I'm about as intimidating as a hampster.

At work B*tch mode is activated(B*tch mode, I'm probably as intimidating as a cocker spaniel).

I can be very intimidating when I choose to be, I just choose not to be 'cause what's the point. I don't get off on fear.

I've been told I'm extremely intimidating for at least the last 10 years.

I don't personally think I'm intimidating, but apparently, everyone else does.

On a scale of 1 to 10? Probably about -3.

Unless someone is going after my kids, I think I rate a 0 on a scale of 1-10 for intimidation!

Not on here, but in other vt venues and in rt I have been told that I am. Personally, I don't get it though.

I've been told I look intimidating once or twice (even when I was just a fat guy). Always blows my mind. I certainly don't think anyone should be intimidated by me, ever. I guess it's the shaved head/beard combo.

I have been told I am intimidating, but not in a "she's going to kick my *kitten*" way... I'm not mean!! Just ... bold, I guess?

You look about as intimidating as a bald kitten.
  • As a security guard I do have some situations where I'm supposed to be intimidating. However, I find it better to try to remain open and friendly to facilitate communication.

So no, on a day to day basis I'm not intimidating at all.

Well, I get this strange feeling that I'm looking down on you. Not sure why.

I have no idea. I'm not intimidated BY anyone so maybe that strength is in itself intimidating? Maybe people are intimidated when they put too much importance on what other people think. Ultimately, someone's opinion is just a thought floating around in the ether. We don't have to grab hold of it and carry it around with us and make it mean something, no matter how fanatically it's delivered. lol!

In my previous role at this firm, I was quite intimidating (so I have been told). Now, not really but people know to jump when I tell them.

Here, not at all. At home, I can give the "dad look" with the best of them.

I look very intimidating when I am at work and when I go out. I am 5'9", wear 5" heels and am Sicilian, so if I am not actively smiling, I look angry. I am as gentle as a butterfly, but I LOOK like I could kill you and feel no guilt.

When I worked in "corporate America", I was told that all the time. Sometimes you have to be to succeed in certain fields.

So glad I don't have to live like that anymore.

It's the look...unfortunately. My hubby wears that same shaved head/beard combo you do and others think he's mean! He's a big teddy bear!

As for myself...it depends on the person. If anything...I'm more on the shy side, at least until I get to know a person!

I'm sorry, but the idea that some anonymous person on the internet, likely 100's or even 1,000's of miles away can be intimidtating is just odd.
And no, I'm not intimidating and I'm not easily intimidated.

Yea... apparently I am terrifying. People who know me know that I am a huge softy, but I am a momma bear by nature. Mess with anyone I love and you won't live to remember it.

I've been told I'm intimidating repeatedly by men... mostly ones that have had wanted to date me and didn't want to approach me because they found me intimidating... whatever!

I'm a very passionate person especially in regards to my health, my family, my dog, my relationship, my friends and animal rights... #%(&# with any of those and I will show you intimidating!

I have a lot of peoople who refuse to workout with me because I go to the gym to workout, not socialize and they tell me I'm 'cranky' because I'm focused... another whatever!

Mom has told me since I was a teen "You look like a snob!" Fine with me, keeps away MOST of the weirdos :)
