I've been talked to at work about being intimidating. I'm no longer allowed to train employees because they're are scared of me. I don't get it.

Well if I'm rocking my 'punk clothes' (strappy black pants, studded skeleton shirt, black bike chain necklace, black shades, black nailpolish, heavy shoes, etc) people have gone out of their way to avoid me. Likewise I believe that my size, as I'm tall and broad, is one of the main factors as to why the bullying I experienced only became as physical as people throwing things at me.

And my scowly face.

But really all I want is cuddles.

I've been told I can be intimidating - but I really don't see it!! I think I'm about as intimidating as a cat..... most days loving and purring and then have my moments of being down right catty and b*tchy when the claws come out. But overall - how intimidating is a cat?? :yawn:

I have had two people tell me I am intimidating in the last 8 years. And I was all like, really???? I try really hard to be graceful, sweet company and that person you can always trust. I dunno. Weird.

Not at all here, unless you are messing with a family member or friend then something about my hand wrapped around their throats sends some kind of message...I just don't get it, I'm just checking their pulse.

I have no idea. I'm not intimidated BY anyone so maybe that strength is in itself intimidating? Maybe people are intimidated when they put too much importance on what other people think. Ultimately, someone's opinion is just a thought floating around in the ether. We don't have to grab hold of it and carry it around with us and make it mean something, no matter how fanatically it's delivered. lol!

Oh I have the Mama Bear thing down cold, I'm pretty damn sure I could take down mountains to protect my offspring and would do it without hestitation.

Other than that I bend over backwards to let people walk all over me.

Bold intimidates a lot of people I think, because they want to be more bold. More free to behave in that manner.

In person or not, people think that I can be very intimidating because I shoot straight from the hip. Don't ask me a question if you don't want to really know the answer.
