Today was chest & back - I look forward to the days when these push ups & pull ups become easier!! My girls woke up early today so I've yet to complete the ab ripper, but I'll get to it - I promise!!

PJilly!!!!!! Congrats on your 4 lb loss!!:drinker: I'll admit it, I'm a bit jealous!! Seriously, though, great job! Keep it up!!

Mallory, sorry I can't help with your diary question. I use a Polar F6 HRM & I've added these workouts to my exercise database according to my HRM reading. My numbers vary from workout to workout & yes, the numbers would be different from person to person.

Have a great day everyone & don't forget to BRING IT!!

Mallory, I also have a HRM so I use a custom "p90x" exercise.

Legs & Back was today, I was so spent afterward I couldn't even do Ab Ripper.
I like Kenpo but have a hard time with the combination of 3-4 different punches. I am very NOT coordinated and the first time with the Jab-Cross-Uppercut thing I was just doing Jab-Jab-Jab LOL.

    Thanks, sanifrey!

Mallory, I use a Polar F4 for my calorie burn, which varies from the low 200s (Yoga X) to the high 300s (Plyo or Legs & Back/Ab Ripper X), depending on the workout.

My workout revelation for today was: Who cares if I can never do an unassisted pull-up? I am loving using the pull-up bar instead of the bands. I cheat as little as possible with the chair, and I feel like I am getting a WAY better back workout than I did with the bands. Isn't that really what counts? If I get an awesome workout every time, that's what matters to me. Maybe I'll be able to do an unassisted pull-up at the end 90 days, and maybe I won't. Ha, that feels so liberating!

Polar F6 user too. I bought mine off e-bay for cheap. It works great! I'm about to start Legs & back right now, but I am doing the Ab ripper FIRST. If I do it first I'm not so wiped out for the 'main event'.Plus you can manage Ab ripper a LOT better too. (for me anyway)

I use a Mio HRM and love it

PJilly that is awesome. I don't use the bar because I have no place to put it  Oh well I will keep up with the bands

Today was Yoga day and I did pilates instead and also a hike though our community forest. I feel so much better. I don't think that if I don't do the Yoga that I will ruin my P90x experience. I love every other routine except that one. I might try it later on but I just don't enjoy the workout and since this is a lifestye change for me I dont think pushing myself to do something I loath is a good thing

Whoa! Made it through yet another round of Plyo and it was still hard. Those twist jumps kill me, then after that my legs have a hard time keeping it up. I went for a short warm up run beforehand, just 15 minutes, and I think that warmed my legs up enough to make the jumping easier then the last time. I feel like since it is two weeks until I do Plyo again, I will be back to where I started.

I had a great Plyo workout today!! I took a little extra time in warming up as well - maybe just an additional 5 minutes or so, but it definately seemed to help!! So glad there was no ab ripper today!!! Enjoy your workouts!!

Starting Week 3 here, finished Core Synergistics today. The moves are getting easier, especially the pushups. Not much weight loss to speak of (2 pounds I think, the scale bounces back and forth each day) but I am definitely feeling stronger and my jeans are starting to fit better!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Plyo today! Yesterday I did Chest, shoulders, and triceps plus went hiking and did 18 holes of golf so the hour of plyo seemed like the longest hour of my life. I almost switched for CardioX but didn't want to wimp out lol Will need a nap later I am sure

Did legs and back yesterday, still feeling it today. I did manage to do more "pull-ups" with the green band this time. I am thinking about moving up to using the chair with the pull-up bar.

Hope eveyone has a great workout

I am restarting week 5 as last week got ahead of me.

I am really trying to clean up my eating as I have been gaining weight and I know it is because my eating is really horrible. What are you doing food wise? Any favorite meals?

I am off to do Cardio X, if only eating well was as easy to me as exercising!

Kenpo X tonight! Legs are still really sore from legs and back last night. I did better on the abs though. I made it through most of the workout without stopping, and did more reps then ever before!! Yay! Hope everyone has a great day!

    Hey there!

Annalisa, I can relate to hectic! Glad you got your core done yesterday. I did Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X to kick off Week 3. Today's the mother of them all, Plyo X.

Robyn, I always used the bands before, but this time I'm using the pull-up bar and chair, and I feel like it's a completely different workout. I'm glad I made the change.

debnu, I am doing my own nutrition plan, but I've used the P90X one before. You might want to try it to see if it works well for you. I've been tracking my food faithfully since August and feel like I've really honed in on what works best for me, which is:
    • Setting my activity to Lightly Active.
    • Setting my weight-loss goal to 1/2 pound.
    • Setting my ratios to 50% carbs, 25% protein, 25% fat.
    • Setting my fiber to 25 grams.
    • Using my HRM to calculate calories burned and eating all those calories.

I'm not dreading today's workout, but I do sort of wish it was already done! Kudos to those who have done theirs already. If you haven't, make sure you do!

Back and biceps, and Ab RipperX done today. What a good workout. I felt a little sick after lol But in a good kind of way.

Jill I am going to change my settings and try yours as my weight is not going anywhere.

Awesome Job everyone else posting on here. Remember to do your best and forget the rest

Great workout today - Legs & Back !! Ab Ripper was tough on me though! I may try AR-X again tonight, as I didn't get through the whole thing & I really had a tough time getting through the part that I did do. We'll see!

I tried doing ARX after Legs & Back last time and only made it a couple minutes. Legs & Back wears me out!
