Requiem for a dream is one of my most favorite movies. I even own it. That being said, I've only watched it twice. I enjoy movies that make me feel something, even if it isn't always pleasant.
However...
Human Centipede 2
The Hills have eyes 2
were both absolutely disgusting and would not recommend them to anyone EVER!
Then there's the documentary Earthlings. It's the most traumatizing, violent, upsetting movie I've ever seen. I do highly recommend it though. It changed my life.0 -

You didn't find out about Zodiac, because nobody ever did. That really happened out in San Fransisco. They never caught the guy. Human Centipede was probably THE most f***ed up movie I've ever seen.0 -
A.I. I was ready to hug my keyboard and promise to never leave it again after Haley Joel Osment's performance.0

Requiem for a Dream, hands down. That movie left me with such a feeling of sadness and hopelessness. I was disturbed for a long time after watching it and will never watch it again.0

Its a TV movie....Tuesdays With Morrie...
I saw this at the theatre a few weeks ago, sobbed my little heart out. The author, Mitch Albom, writes some incredibly moving books.
I saw The Elephant Man as a child as was very affected by that.
And I haven't seen the full film but Human Centipede is pretty disturbing...it's just so f***** up!0 -
I haven't checked and I'm sure it's been said, but pretty much any Darren Aronofsky film. The first post was 'Requiem For A Dream,' so that one is given. 'The Wrestler', 'Pi' & 'Black Swan'. Chris Nolan's films 'Momento' and 'Following.'
David Fincher's 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.'
That's my list.0
