Now I just want a pizza.

Yep. My margherita pizza was really good today. Just a shout out to pizza here. :drinker:

    :brokenheart:  :explode:

I have no chance of getting pizza today. It's not easy in my area to get your hands on a gluten free, vegan pizza after specialty grocery store hours.

Yea, we should agree to disagree on the content of our respective pizzas, avoid arguing over the definition of "pizza" and just get all huggy on pizza for pizza's sake. 'Cause pizza is frigg'n awesome. Just say'n. :flowerforyou:

It really is. And glutenous pizza is the best of all. I miss thee.

Maybe not. This is the first time I've been mad at Reddy. He really, really, really made me want pizza. Off to go cook tomorrow's food and hope that rids me of the craving.

Good point. I"m pretty sure the epic debate between the forces of IIFYM and the forces of Imperfect Clean Eating will continue unabated as there is a bout 2-3% of "dirty" food to fight about.

I'm not sure exactly what the point of this is or what eating clean means to you, but I do know that if I eat lots of protein and fruits and veggies and try to stay away from processed food, I am able to stay in my calorie range, work out, feel good and not hungry, and lose weight. I was not able to do that when I was eating a lot of processed carbs. Fruit and veggies rock and are much better for you than processed food. I make a killer barbecue pizza with a portabella mushroom base.....

Or at least ordered a pizza the way normal people eat pizza. You know, with toppings they actually enjoy. The man likes veggies.....but orders no veggies on his pizza. Then complains about not hitting his micros.

    What a joke.

    ??

i love hawaiian pizza. what's wrong with that?

and no, most people don't get veggies on their pizza. should we make a thread about that?

42% choose pepperoni on their pizza.

green peppers, onions and olives combined only make 8% in the informal poll.

    what a joke

I prefer cheese, onions and green olives over anything with sausage and pepperoni. But, I AM curious about something: Aren't you gluten free? I remember reading about that. Which, if you are, makes the pizza discussion a moot point.

I am gluten free and don't eat regular pizza at all. And comparing GF pizza to regular pizza is comparing apples to oranges, isn't it?

i'm GF 95% of the time.

Then you aren't GF for health necessity?

You can obviously make better or worse choices with pizza. This seems hardly surprising. I love very thin crust pizza piled high with vegetables and grilled chicken. Yummy, filling, still pizza and not a bad choice as far as health is concerned.

I don't see the point in wanting to prove that someone else is wrong with his/her approach to eating. Eat how you want to eat. No need to attempt to prove someone else is "wrong." I don't personally choose to eat pop tarts or the like, but I don't even care a little bit if other people want to do so.

depends on what you consider a health necessity. will i keel over dead if I have gluten? no. has going gluten free helped my laryngeal inflammation issues which allows me to perform better as a singer and actor? yup. and i just feel better in general. so it's not hard and fast for me, which some coeliacs on here are going to hate, but hey - i enjoy it.

But how did you feel after it? ;(

(I dont eat pizza cause i feel bloated and rather constipated after it, so best avoiding, or i just eat the toppings off them and give the base away, or feed it to the birds/chickens)

Probably because Domino's actually publishes nutrition info, so he'd have some actual numbers to show how terrible it is.
