While there might be some evidence supporting the use of a handful of supplements for specific purposes, It really doesn't seem worthwhile at all to drop the $.

    Vitamin D
    Calcium
    Magnesium
    Zinc
    Baby aspirin
Fish oil (when I remember to buy it)

    I alternate Vitamin C, A, and E

All per my doctor - the magnesium helps my migraines so I don't have to take my maxalt mlt as often
  • Happy Tuesday :)

Every morning I take a calcium suppliment & Vitamin D & Multi Vitamin.

It helps my energy level! My doctor suggested it.

    I take:
    Prenatal
    Spring Valley Combination Fish/Flaxseed/Borage Oil
    CLA Tonalin
    Super B-Complex
    CoQ 10
    cinnamon

I probably go a little overboard!

I take Fish Oil, Vitamin B12, D and Folic Acid every day. I have heard that 100% Cherry Juice and Cod Liver Oil are amazing for joint health.

Whoa, that's a really interesting chart. I love how it's broken down by the conditions the products are being used to treat.

Bookmarking that for later reference! Thanks!

Multi vitamin, some extra D and B12. I'll be starting the fish oil when I find out which one my cousin takes because apparently it doesn't taste bad.

Yes the prices can be a bit high sometimes but I always look for the buy 1 get 1 sales then use two coupons (internet or newspaper generally have some) to make the price lower. I don't think I've ever paid more than $5 for any vitamin/supplement. I try to stock up when I can.

I take mine at NIGHT or they make me throw my guts up... (YUCK)

    one a day multivitamin
    iron pill ( im anemic)
two ducosate tablets (must have from taking the iron)
    and occasionally water pills...

ALL with lots of water to keep them down:drinker:
  • One a Day Men's VitaCraves Gummies. Love these things. I take them with my breakfast as a little sweet snack at the end. Just don't make my mistake and leave them in your car on a hot summer day after you bought them. Now I just have a big glob of semi formed gummies that I have to pry apart each morning :p

Yes. Iron supplement because I keep ending up with anemia despite adequate dietary iron, Vitamin C to help iron absorption. Chewable multivitamin and chewable calcium supplement. Lecithin and Vitamin E to try and keep restless leg syndrome down a bit.
  • Kinda missed my point.

edit: damn it, why can't i delete this?

Back in 2009 I took GNC's Active Mega Vitapacks and lost like 40 pounds. I'm back on them and they are pricey but they still save me money from all the extra food I no longer crave to munch on during the afternoon and later in the evenings.

  • I take a lot and have for many years. I eat relatively well but not consistently. I agree that they are probably a waste and could even be bad for people but, compared to a lot of people I know and see on here, my health is great so maybe it is working.

    1000 mg vit C
    vit E
    2 probiotics
