Omaha, NE
Henry Doorly Zoo -one of the best zoos in the country and I haven't been there since the Lied Jungle was new (20 years ago!) I'm a homebody and am totally guilty of not visiting things that are readily available.

College World Series - Okay so this is only 9 days/year, but it's blast
The Old Market - Collection of shops and restaurants. What's nice is that with the exception of Old Chicago, all the restaurants in the Old Market are Omaha native. Love me some Blue (sushi), Stokes (Mexican), or Zios (Pizza).0 -
I play tourist often!! I live in S. Florida (very south Florida) and there is lots to do. Mostly involving water or alcohol, but lots to do!!0
-
Jersey, and whatever you want to do, you do ( ;0
-
I live in south central Pa. Unless you are interested in learning about the Amish or seeing how Hershey's chocolate is made, there isn't a whole lot to do around here.0
-
White Lake, MI
I just moved to this area 2 months ago but as far as I know, there are ski resorts, waterparks, recreational areas, beaches and there's a movie theater 2 miles away.
There is also alot of apple orchards around here so I will definitely be taking advantage of that in the Fall.0 -

Michigan, float around between Detroit-Clarkston-Rochester Hills. Everything from casinos, concerts, skiing, movies, malls, etc
In Royal Oak where I actually live you can hang out downtown, eat, drink, shop, there's pretty much anything you want within about 20 minutes.0 -
I'm in Reno, NV. We have a lot of hiking in the mountains and desert, skiing is 40 minutes away, as is Lake Tahoe, we have a lot of events in town during the year. Lot of conventions come here thru too. Still it could use more family style fun other than just gaming. Its sort of low key though, I miss the bigger cities sometimes because it can get boring.0

NYC
EVERYTHING0 -
I am a London UK girl who now lives in the English countryside in Dorset England. I am 45 minutes from beaches and 5 minutes from the most mind blowing countryside which is heaven for my doggie
Not much for the younger generation I guess but it is a safe clean and lovely place to live.0 -
Baltimore area, though we head down to DC quite often. There's always tons of stuff to do!0
-
Auburn, CA
You can go up the hill and ski; Mountain bike, road bike, run, movies, theater, concerts, dining, hang out in the middle of town; Take an hour trip to the ocean, go to the river or lake to swim, fish or whatever; Hiking trails; Lots of festivals/events year round.
This^^ I live in Roseville CA, very close to Auburn and also in the Sacramento Area. There is so much to do here!!0 -
Orlando, FL. we have almost everything here.0
-
Toronto, Canada
I live outside of Toronto and where I live, there's not much to do. Though, downtown Toronto is fun!0 -
I live in Seattle Everything here sucks. There is nothing to do. Nobody should ever move here.
I'm sensing a wee bit of sarcasm....
I live in Weston, Idaho. A town of about 400 people and one zillion cows. There is fishing, cow tipping, chicken chasing, garden weeding and animal watching here. We have one tiny gas station with a pump so old that the numbers won't go above $2.00 a gallon, so they make the price half of what it should be and then you double it and go in and tell the cashier the amount.
It is quiet and peaceful and you can walk around naked if you want because no one is there to see you.0 -
Owensboro, KY and there aint a dang thing to do here (if you don't count the bars- not a drinker really) but occasionally we festivals- The International BBQ Festival (not into BBQ or the Beer Garden, so I dont go), The Big O music fest (too many dang people and too expensive to even be worth it), The Apple Fest (too crowded to be any fun), ect.
That being said, I love this town, wouldn't want to raise my kid anywhere else.0 -
Phoenix AZ, TONS to do here! Water parks, lakes, pools, parks (it is over 100F most of the summer so anything with water is a blessing). And there is tons of beautful little towns that are only 1-2 hours away!0
-
Indian Harbour Beach, FL
We're between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, so there are plenty of water activities. Kennedy Space Center isn't far up the road and little shops are everywhere.0 -
I live in Sherman, Texas and there is really very little to do here if you're not into kicker bars or lake activities. There are a couple little obscure museums and President Eisenhower's birthplace. Besides that, I describe this town as a place where the only things to do are eat and shop.
Obesity here is the norm, not the exception.
I went to uptown Dallas a few months ago and even though I used to LIVE there, I was amazed at the fact that no one there was overweight. It's because the community is more walking-friendly and caters to a more image-oriented demographic. In Sherman, you wear pajamas to walmart.
I need to move someplace more exciting.0 -
Im from Austin, Texas (aka ATX). There is plenty to do around here. We are a very active town and there are plenty of parks and recreation places here. Tons of different festivals and you will ALWAYS find live music. We have the University of Texas Longhorns that usually play well in all sports so those are fun to watch. We are now getting a Formula One (euro form of Indy) track here this fall so that will be just something else to add to the many things ATX has to offer.0

Charlotte, NC
Attractions: U.S. National Whitewater Center
Carowinds Theme Park

Discovery Place
Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens
Lots of clubs, bars, Pro football games, Pro basketball games
City and country stuff. LOL0 -
Two places:
Summer and breaks: Small town in Northwest NJ about 20 minutes from the PA border. Nothing to do here. You have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to the movies or anything fun. We do have a Walmart and a few other shopping chains about 15 minutes away. I live in the "downtown" of my town. We have a drug store, a few banks, a tool and feed store, and a post office. We also have two bars within a 5 minute walk. When I'm 21 that will be nice!
College: Town outside of Tampa, FL. Tampa has everything, even a pirate festival. That's fun But I miss the small town atmosphere when I'm down there.0 -
Hattiesburg, MS
Not a whole lot.. if you like to run/bike there's the Longleaf Trace. Its stretches about 40 milse.
There's a university here, and it gets lively during football season
Not much else really0 -
I live in Jersey, home of diners and malls. It blows here!0
-
it blows here in southern CT too! Luckily it is near NYC!0
-
I live in a little town in the south east of England.
There's an overpriced gym, lots of antique shops and countryside that's about it. We did have the Olympic cycle race come through here which made a nice change though. All I tend to do most of the time is take the children to the park, walk lots and go to Costa.0
