"I'm getting older, I can get fat if I want to!"
I can't believe I used to say that crap. I look and feel soooo much better.
*cheer*0 -
That if the scale hadn't moved for weeks or months, the size I was is how I was meant to be forever... where do we get this *kitten* from?!!0

I d think oh I just screwed up my diet with what I ate today, so now my diet is ruined. Maybe I will start again next Monday...0

Totally with you on that one - it's interesting what we tell ourselves to avoid changing!0 -

My grandparents are fat...so I'm supposed to be just as squishy. Riiiiight.0

-
this probably doesn't have too many calories....0
-
"I'll start tomorrow"...it took 20 years for tomorrow to come :grumble:
Really wish I did this LONG ago.0 -
"My metabolism will keep me thin, I can eat whatever I want"
And it did....until hit 28. Then I slowly started to gain weight until I had to listen to my body!0 -
I can't control my weight was (is) one of mine too.0

Im not fat
"this probably doesn't have too many calories...."
That one still gets me. And I'm still in shock over the Jaffa Cake count!!0 -
"I'm just big boned". I may have a larger frame than the women in my family but get real...I was fat!!!
I did this one for years. Until I worked out that actually, I have the smallest frame size you can possibly have and I'm short so actually, it was all fat! :noway:0 -
I'll even out after a growth spurt... [well after my growth spurts stopped]0
-
"I'll lose the weight I put on during pregnancy after I've given birth".
Yeah... doesn't happen, since it totally wasn't baby weight - just fat weight.
^^THIS!! 4 years after having my daughter I FINALLY realized I had to stop calling it "baby weight" and refer to it as what it was... FAT!0 -
"I'm just big boned".
I used to say that too.
Best response: "Really? I've never seen a fat skeleton before!"0 -
i used to think the scale mattered. i know better now0
-
I have too much I am dealing with at the moment - I will start trying to lose weight at the end of the month, beginning of the year, after the boys are older...
silly sod - now I just wish I had started sooner lol but it's all good at least I am on track now0 -
I can eat fast food because I will work off all 1000 calories tonight! (never worked off any of the calories)0

"You only live once, so you may as well eat as many awesome foods as you can while you've got the chance."
Now my attitude is more like:
"You only live once, so DON'T SCREW IT UP BY DYING YOUNG"0
