Ruined my body lifting HEAVY ( sadly with pics)

As you can see in my before picture...I was shapely and very womanly.....
I feel victim to the notion that woman would NOT bulk up by lifting heavy...boy was I wrong....I wish I had not strayed from doing the ellipticals everyday for 60 minutes...I have so ruined the looks of my body.. I have man arms now  I should not have donated my 3 pound pink barbie weights... I should not have started doing deadlifts ( currently at 180lbs...) Thankfully, I have come to my senses before it was too late!
THIS is what lifting heavy will do to your bodies ladies...you have beem warned.
This is tragic! It breaks my heart to see another woman lose her curves to deadlifts, and no doubt, squats. Please ladies, stay in the cardio room were you belong, on the eliptical for 60 minutes, where you are safe from figure ruining weights.0 -
Simply STUNNING Results!!! in just a few months, too!!! congrats!!! I need to get back to my strength training now that my 2 Half marathons are done!! I love running, but I look and feel soo much better with weight training too!!!! You are living proof!!! :flowerforyou:0

You bulkasaurus :P haha Well done!!! You did great0
-
I'm hoping to ruin my body like that
You look Fantastic!0 -
I don't get your point. you think your arms look like man arms in the second photo? I don't think so..I think if you lost another 10 pounds your arms would look smaller. Overall..you look really good.... I have bigger arms too..and when I'm at my goal weight they are the last things to slim down... so lose a bit more...I don't think it is the weights.0

LOL! you look fantastic! I wish I could ruin my body like yours!:devil:0

Thank you about the suit...and you will LOVE the program- this is where I started...I cant say that I stuck with it ( I am EASILY bored!)...but it taught me the fundamentals of lifting.... I youtubed a lot of workouts....and watched the boys at the gym...and asked questions...the men at the gym honestly are WAY helpful!0 -

Hey I think your arms look better! I do A LOT of heavy lifting at work and in the 2 years I've worked my strength has increased greatly and I can lift 60lbs no problem. And my arms are smaller than when I first started my job. Just stick with it your muscles take a lot to heal I have learned. Try upping your water and protein! Good luck!0

You look great! And I lift heavy. But it kind of bothers me when people post like this trying to make fun of people who don't lift heavy :frown: Everyone has different goals, different interests, etc.... Congrats on your success!0

I'm going to take this as a hilarious joke...or maybe just a ploy for attention. Not quite sure which one, but anywho...You look amazing, and WAY better than in your before picture. You do not look like a man in any way. I feel sorry for you if you decide to go back to killing yourself on the elliptical for hours on end.0
-
You look fantastic, I can't wait to get to lifting again!!0
-
LOL, I was sucked in also by the topic....great job and we look forward to more scary heavy lifting pics :P0

For those who didn't pick up the sarcasm, try reading her post again. I know it can be difficult at times to understand context over a message, but she clearly uses humor and boasts a great sense of accomplishment in her post.0
