I almost cut down my workout tonight... But I pushed through and did the whole thing. I feel fantastic!
That's awesome! This was mine too! I am getting over a sinus infection that is trying to make its way into my chest. I still have a little chest congestion, but I pushed through it and did my workout anyway.0 -
someone told me that I looked like I was "shrinking away"0
-
At my blood pressure check at the doctor's yesterday, both values had gone down 9 points so I'm no longer "borderline", I'm in the healthy range.0

A huge week for me as far as NSV's:
1) Set new personal bests in the gym for amount of weight lifted or tied personal bests
2) Visited a friend and his family on Sunday evening for dinner and they asked what I was doing (eating, exercise) because I was looking really fit
3) During a class for my work a bodybuilder who I hadn't seen in over a year said I was looking bigger (in a good way!)0 -
I've had two fabulous ones. First of all, I was mistaken for a hussy. ;-) The landlord that owns the house across the way from me is only there a few times a year (she rents to students). She saw me and thought that my husband was running around with some younger thinner girl. She saw my truck in the driveway, she assumed the worst. She was ready to curse me out, til she walked up and realized it was ME!!! hahahaha. ;-)
Second one, I mowed my back yard in shorts and a sports bra. It's been about 14 years since I've been brave enough to wear something that revealing somewhere publicly visible. I've dropped 118 lbs in 3 years..my body isn't rock hard by any stretch, but I'm pushing hard, and that includes pushing my comfort levels to a spot of normalcy (for me). I felt incredibly empowered. (and worried that the kids next door were thinking that their neighbor was half nekkid...see, issues to overcome..LOL)0 -
Chris Powell from Extreme Makeover Weight loss Edition commented me on facebook! I love him - him / that show has been a huge inspiration to me in the past 3 months, so this meant A LOT to me last night!
I also had to wear a belt to work the other day with my jeans because they wouldnt have stayed up. I have lost 12 1/2 inches in the past 87 days and dropped 15 lbs.0 -
Two for me this week:
Normally I clip my iPod onto the waistband of my running skort... On Monday evening when I went running I couldn't because it was making my skort slide down and I didn't want to expose myself to all of the kids at the park!
And, as autumn is starting to roll into New England, I was pulling out my weather-appropriate work clothes and nothing fit! No even a belt would help--it all looked ridiculous! So on Tuesday evening I had to go to the store to buy some new clothes for the new me!0 -

Amazing that's awesome!0 -
I found an old t-shirt I use to wear as a kid ( a cute shirt that says "It's a cat's life"). It was pretty baggy for me, and it made me happy because when I took it off, it was a CHILD'S LARGE.0

I put on my favorite suite this AM (havent worn it in a while) and it is WAY TOO BIG...I looked like I was playing dress-up!! I changed and put on a pair of standard black pants (still big but wearable) and when I put my belt on I am another belt hole smaller!!! It was a good morning when saying "I have nothing to wear" because everything was too big instead of 3 months ago when it was because nothing fit
I think I deserve a shopping trip this weekend Thanks for letting me share this is my first NSV...looking forward to more!0 -
About 2 years ago, I broke the zipper trying to get on one of my favorite dresses because it was too small. Just tried on that dress again yesterday and was able to slip it on OVER MY HEAD! It looks great and I'm so happy I can wear it again, even with a broken zipper! I haven't been this skinny since 2009!!!! :-D0

I am training for a half marathon. Went for my first run ever! Did 5 km in 30 minutes. The girl I was training with did not realize it was my first run and told me I could probably walk more next time. I am certainly sore though!0
-
I ran 5k on treadmill this morning!Just over 3 months ago I could run for just 30 secs so am delighted! ok so it took 40 minutes but Im not in any competition or training for anything Im just glad Im able to do it!0

Started working out again with my trainer this week after about 2-3 months off...measurements taken, and everything was relatively the same as it was when I stopped! However, my hips were down 2 inches!0
-
Wore a waistcoat yesterday that used to sit on top of my tummy when i sat down... now it doesn't ride up at all!!0
-
I made it to the LAST KNOTCH on one of my favorite my waist-belts :-). Also, I belt I bought at the beginning of the summer to be a waist belt can now (relatively) fit around my HIPS!!!0

During Core Synergistics (P90X) I was able to do the Plank to Chatarangua run for the full minute, it's a first for me.
I don't think no one will get what I'm talking about, if you do, you're awesome0 -
I can get into some sexy short/tight boxer briefs that I've never been able to wear before. They're perfect now. Also some jeans I couldn't wear in the past are hanging off me now.0
-
I have a skirt that I used to not zip quite all the way to the top so that it afforded me a much needed extra couple of inches around. I would then hide the fact that it wasn't zipped all the way up by pairing it with a long top.
Yesterday, I easily zipped it all the way!0 -
Had a coworker not recognize me on the way in to work today!!! Woohoo!!!
Also had multiple comments from friends and coworkers that I am looking skinny!! What???? ME????? Skinny????? :happy:0 -
As I was doing jumping jacks for 30 day shred I noticed my pants kept falling below my stomach! A little motivation to keep going0

Great job! I can hardly do it twice! I LOVE Core Synergistics, especially the Banana/Superman!
My NSV this week was a full 2 minute plank...not a HUGE feat, but I did it an started at a very shaky 45 seconds a week and a half ago0 -
I was searching in my closet for a pair of size 16 jeans, last time I wore them they were snug. I couldn't find them, but did find a pair of 14s & thought "well these won't fit, but lets see how far I am from wearing them" guess what.....THEY FIT! Snug, but they fit!0

After my shower, the towel wraps all the way around my hips! No gap! I'm now compleatly covered!!0

My NSV for today - was the first solo kick at my new barbell circuit my trainer did up for me. It's freakin' difficult - the lifts are ones that I"m not used to. I wanted so badly to give up and just try it again next time. Instead, I decreased the weight a bit, took a walk around the gym to clear my head, and forced myself to power through it. In the past, I would have given up and gone back to what I knew and that I could do without difficulty.
I have to say, I'm kind of proud of myself for refusing to give in :-)0 -
@FabulousEgo That's awesome! Great job! Much blessings to you! I truly wish the best for y0

My NSV has been not stepping on a scale for weeks.0
