Cherrypie ~ It's only 2 pounds a week if you start today and end March 30th! Totally doable. I've been losing 1 to 2lbs a week and I am at 1300 calories, and eat back 1/2 of my exercise calories (sometimes more, sometimes less...I listen to my body)

My first official WI: 148.5
If I lose the 10lbs, it will bring me within 3.5lbs of my goal!! I'm excited, but also worried that it'll slow down as I get closer...but since I'm only 5'3" my goald should probably be closer to 125 anyway...I just think I'll look too skinny there.
Today's goals:
Get my water in
Stay under calories
Get Day 6 of the 30 Day Slim down accomplished0 -

Katie... Congrats on choosing 135, and not going for super skinny! That's an inspiration to me, since a few years ago, I thought that only 125 would make me happy. Now (I'm 5'5" / 5'6" -- I'm not 100% sure, but I've always gone with 5'6" ) I'd just love to be at 135!0 -

weigh-in was today for me....nothing lost-BUT nothing gained either! I burned my toast so i saved 80 calories...on my way to my goal for next weigh-in to be -1.5:)0

I'm in too. My anniversary is at the end of March and 10 pounds would put me right around my wedding weight. While it's not my final goal it's a perfect mini-goal.
My workout goal for this month is to up the intensity of my workouts. So far I've been mostly walking but I'd like to add more jogging, elliptical, and biking/backpacking if the snow EVER melts. I've gotten way better about counting calories in the last month. My new nutrition goal is to work on improving the nutritional balance of those calories.
This seems like a great positive group. I'm excited to watch us succeed! :happy:0 -

Congratulations on loosing 3.4 lbs. Keep up the good work. You are correct you may not lose that much all the time but don't give up. We all can do this. :flowerforyou:

Hello all!!! wow I can't believe the response I received just from one posting, this is great!!! I haven't been on the past 2 days, I had work, I work 12 hour shifts, and drive and hour both ways to and from work............Everyone keep up the great work, and keep in touch when you need some motivation and encouraging words, or hell even if you want to brag......that's what we are all here for!!! :bigsmile:0

Five weeks isn't alot of time. Going to have to work on it every single day to get there! That is why today, although I was nearly falling asleep at my desk at work, I still came home, made a very sensible dinner, and then did an hour of exercise. And even though tomorrow is another 10 hour shift, I intend to do the same.
I think I need more sleep, and more water. And I am way under my calories today which is just crazy considering I ate 450 for breakfast.. How the... ? I don't want to snack too much late in the evening, that doesn't seem like it's a good idea... but it also can't be great to be so short this often. Hm, I guess I need to work on this. Oh yeah, that's why I am here!! :laugh:
Really ,reeeeeally would be good to be 10 down at the end of March.
