Whats your current NSV (non scale victory)

I was told I looked 'trim' today and like my waist was slimmer.0

I've had a good few days of NSVs now:
- Tried abseiling for the first time ever at the weekend. It was AMAZING! And despite it being something I've wanted to try, six months ago I'd have been waaaaay too self-conscious of my huge bum to do it. That's the part where I've lost the least, but I have so much more confidence now that no-one was going to stop me!
- My favourite denim skirt that I haven't been able to wear in *years* is now back in the 'yay, it fits comfortably' pile - not even in the 'I can just about squeeze in' one!
- Bought some new exercise trousers - a size down from my other two. I have no idea when I last bought size 14 (UK) trousers...!
- I'm doing C25K and *loving* the improvement in my fitness - and confidence! On Sunday I raced my girls to the car - and WON! OK, so they had stuff in their hands, but hey!
(And, if I may, one scale victory - today I reached 2 stone loss! About another half-stone, and I'm probably about where I want to be, along with better fitness and some toning...)0 -
I got to throw out some of my cloths that no longer fit. Still have not gone down enough to get new cloths but very soon:happy:0
-
I can now run 3.5 miles without stopping on a daily basis. The biggest victory is not feeling like me legs are made of cement the next morning when i get up.0
-
Push ups on my toes!!! I still can't believe I can do them! No scale victories yet, but I'm very excited about the new muscles I'm seeing develop! :-)0

I started my journey to get healthy in mid march. In mid July we went to visit our son. If he noticed anything he didn't comment. Last week I went for another visit. When he picked me up at the airport, I had the door open and my suitcase put in the back seat before he could get out of the truck. When I looked up at him he was just sitting there looking at me... I looked at him and said what? What???? He continues just looking at me and he says " Mom you, you, look so fit " So worth all the hard work!!!
Very Cool!

Down 4 pant sizes to a size 16! Yes, these are a bit tight not uncomfortable, but so were the size 22!0

2 years without my BELOVED Tea (with 4 tsp of white sugar in it!). I am back to it now but it's 1 or 2 cups a day with HALF a tsp of Demerara Sugar (similar to brown sugar). Helped kick my highest consumption of sugar to the curb! YAY!
ALSO, I worked up my endurance from walking on treadmill and being out of breath after 10 mins to RUNNING on the treadmill for 15 minutes in only 6 months!! :drinker:
Have you tried replacing it with flavored tea? I drink Republic of Tea in Blackberry Sage, and Pride and Joy! YUM!

after not working out for 12 days.... my size 12 petite jeans (non stretchy) FIT ME!
AND... I found my mojo and got back out there today!!0 -
May seem silly but I rode a mechanical bull this weekend. Normally, I would have been way too self-conscious of my weight to do that. I had a blast!0
-
No alcohol for 5 weeks!
Only 1 hole left on my belt!
Size 14 shorts that have never fit me, now fit! Woop!0 -
I've got a pair of trousers that I bought online about a year and a half ago, or so. When they came, they were way too small for me, which I was unhappy about. At some point in the last six months the finally fit. I was ecstatic about that, because I really loved these trousers. But now, and this is a bit of a bittersweet NSV, they're way too big. I'm kinda sad because they really are awesome, but it's a great way for me to see how I've gotten smaller.0

Went for a 35 minute bike ride with my husband! It was a bit scary at first, but felt great to be out there doing that0
-
45 min on the elliptical. Not so long ago 3 min was heart-attack inducing!!
Exactly!. I thought exercise was possible only in my next life0 -
I was told that I looked "good" this morning.
I replied that Specsavers have special offers0 -
Mine is sad!!!!
I had to put my wedding rings in the jewelry box because i flung one off last night while pointing to something to show my daughter...
*sniffle*
Good, but sad.. :sad:0 -
cloths getting baggy-ring loose on fingers:bigsmile:0

I ran 3 miles last night - 3 whole miles!! Without stopping!! This is from someone who refused to run 100yards for the bus 3 months ago!!!
Oh and at the weekend my housemates boyfriend told me I looked hot and he didnt realise I was so hot...not sure if I was flattered or offended!! But pleased I've made the jump from frumpy housemate to "will you have a threesome with us" housemate!! haha0 -

I caught a glimpse of my reflection in my laptop screen yesterday and...collarbones??0
-
I ran for the first time since I hurt my foot yesterday. 2.5 miles of run/walk. It was fantastic!0
-
My stretch pants are starting to get pretty loose. Another 10 pounds and I think I'm gonna have to move from a large to a medium. That should coincide with getting my tax return soooooo... new wardrobe0
-
Doctor reduced my daily meds. Lipitor went from 80 to 20 mg. Metformin from 3 pills to 1 (hoping to eliminate completely).0
-
Size 7/8 Aerostople Skinny Jeans & the waist is too big!! YAY!0
-
Oh I have some NSVs!
- Three people told me I look like I lost weight / asked me if I was trying to lose weight because I looked like it
- I need a new belt, the old one is not tight enough anymore!
- The 10 kg-mark is so near. I can't wait to hit it, because then I'll try on my "goal-pullover" again. My goal is reached once that pullover fits me again. :P0 -
Clothes are fitting better/looser. Luckily (or unluckily?) I have a wardrobe that goes down several sizes.0
-
My son was able to lay on the couch in front of me this morning instead of on top of me because there was finally enough room for him there
Aaawww....I love this0 -
Hearing that my old "skinny" jeans look a little big
They aren't my ultimate Skinny Jeans, but when I was 6 sizes larger, these were one step on the way to my goal!
Also... looking at a picture from Dec. 1, 2011, when I thought I was looking "better", and seeing how much better I look today
Love the NSV's way more than SV's The number doesn't matter0 -
Okay so, I defined NSV, I remember being new and not knowing what most of the abbreviations meant.
Today I ran for 12 minutes straight without stopping! Silly but great, for me!
